  • "Fabulous pod, had everything we needed."

    Stunning setting, perfect for a bit of rest and relaxation. Quite literally miles from anywhere so need to ensure you take plenty of supplies! Hot tub was such a treat, jumped in every evening before settling down for the night. Would love to go back and will definitely recommend to friends.

LLANDOVERY

Llandeilo 13 miles; Carmarthen 28 miles.

This pretty market town sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This area is popular for walking, fishing and cycling with the Black Mountains, Crychan Forest, Cwm Rhaeadr and the River Towey waiting to be discovered.
A walk up to the castle is a must as from here you enjoy the views out across the town to the neighbouring River Bran.
After a day spent walking through the beautiful countryside there are many cafés, tea rooms, delis and patisseries for you to relax in. Not to be missed is the annual Sheep Festival which is held every September and celebrates droving, sheep farming and the wool industry. Llandovery is in a fantastic location with something to suit everyone on the doorstep. The village of Llandeilo, a twenty minute drive away, is a pretty market town with a lovely selection of unusual gift shops, eating places and pubs, whilst visits to the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles add to the charm. Nearby, explore the ruins of Talley Abbey, The National Botanic Garden Of Wales, an array of historic castles, plus a large selection of beautiful sandy beaches and the famous coastal path all within comfortable driving distances.
