The Hagguard

Just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at this beautiful cottage.

Everything you could possibly need is provided for a great stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well presented, it is very isolated making it so quiet but ideally situated for visiting places. We visited Coppet Hall Beach, Folly Farm and Heatherton World of Activities, all within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Pam and Carl the owners, are fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay so welcoming and comfortable. We had three of our grandchildren with us and Pam very kindly let us go and see the new baby bull calf which was born on the Friday morning, we all loved our stay and were very sad to be leaving but we will definitely be back.

Additionally we enjoyed the setting and the warm greeting we received on arrival. Lovely!

On arrival we were met by Pam the very friendly helpful owner .

The cottage was spotlessly clean with a very well equipped kitchen the downstairs en suite bedroom was perfect for those with limited mobility, situated on a working farm in a quiet rural location with lovely views of the countryside The Hagguard was a perfect holiday cottage for the three generations of our family

Excellent property with everything you need.

High standard of finish and great quality of accessories. Very welcoming owners. Only downside was the very long rutted farm lane to the property. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week in a well appoint cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The children loved having a garden where they could play safely and enjoyed having sheep and cattle nearby. The hosts were very friendly ,welcoming and helpful. We found so many interesting places to visit without having to travel more than 30 minutes. We would recommend The Haggard as a good place to stay.

We arrived to a very warm welcome by Pam and Karl.

The cottage was very clean on arrival. The situation of the cottage was great with about 70 sheep 8 cows and calves in the field and a sheep dogs and especially Gwen who was a lovable sheep dog. We were able to visit all the areas we wanted to do as the location was great. Access to the cottage from the road was by an electrically operated gate which gave added security. Would we use the Hagguard again if we returned to the Tenby area, definitely.

What a wonderful stay we had.

The photos don’t really do the place justice. Such warm and friendly owners. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds and sofas. Very quiet location which was perfect.

We had a fabulous stay at the Haggard It has to be the best holiday property we have stayed in and we have stayed at many over the last 20 years .

It was spotlessly clean .in a very nice quiet area . Owners are fab and made us feel very welcome . We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future. Many thanks Wendy @ Daphne

Absolutely superb cottage in every regard on a working farm with wonderful hosts - additionally the layout of the property is ideal for those with limited mobility having a ground floor en suite bedroom.

We’ve just spent a wonderful week at the Haggaurd.

The barn was so warm and clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful position. Just surrounded by fields and being able to see the sheep and cattle out the windows was so nice. Plenty of room in there and always instant hot water. It has everything you need in there for a comfortable holiday. It was a great location as it was easy to get to all the coastline and towns in a short time. Pam and Karl who own the barn were lovely and kindly showed us around the barns with the cattle and let me bottle feed one of the calves which was lovely. There are so many wonderful places to see around the coast and beautiful beaches and coastal walks and seeing the seals in the sea. Lots of nice places to eat not far from the barn including Saundersfoot and the Captains Table pub and the Boat Inn. Had some really good meals there. Can recommend the boat trip to Cauldey Island to see the seals and St. Guvans. After a busy day exploring it was lovely to come back to the warm barn to relax and have a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you Pam and Karl for letting us stay in your barn and for all the treats you left us. We would highly recommend this barn and hope to return again soon. We really didn’t want to go home!

The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable with great attention to detail. The location on a working farm was stunning, wonderfully peaceful and very relaxing. We were welcomed by the lovely property owner into this cosy cottage.

The cottage is spacious, spotless and had everything you need. The outside is surrounded by fields with sheep and cattle, and is very peaceful. The weather wasn't brilliant, but that didn't stop us visiting various places. which we enjoyed. We hope to come back again next year!

We loved seeing the farm animals and the dogs and hosts Pam and Karl very welcoming. We wanted to stay longer. It was much appreciated by all the generations of the family.

We had a great family holiday at The Hagguard.

The property combines traditional construction with modern finishes and facilities, and the rooms are all a great size, with plenty of storage space. The property is surrounded by green fields and the views from the patio to the west are stunning. It's twenty minutes from the house to Tenby, Saundersfoot, and Pembroke - so ideally located for exploring south Pembrokeshire.

Cleanest property I've stayed in, equipment available to use is comprehensive and lacks nothing.

Very spacious, the owner should reword its advertisement to promote the fact that the lower sleeping area is in effect a separate suite with full bathroom facilities providing an independent/private space to attract more bookings. No negative comments to make.

We loved our stay at the Hagguard.

The accommodation is so comfortable. The cottage is in beautiful countryside, quiet and peaceful but still close to beaches and everything else that a stay in Pembrokeshire has to offer. The owners are friendly and welcoming, we hope to return.

The property was perfect and in a great location for seeing the area but in a quiet rural setting.

There is everything you could need in the kitchen and everywhere was spotlesley clean. Pam and Carl are great hosts. The outside space is a bonus.

The cottage had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were so friendly and always willing to offer any help they could to make our stay more comfortable, not that there was much needed that could make the place any more comfortable than it already was. It is on a working farm with sheep and cows in the fields surrounding the property but we hardly heard any noise, and seeing the lambs playing just the other side of the garden fence was a highlight. One member of our party was enthralled by the stunning views over the countryside. We don't usually stay in cottages in Pembrokeshire because my parents have a caravan there, but we will definitely recommend The Hagguard to any of our friends and will look it up again if we ever need another cottage in the area. Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday. We all enjoyed it so much.

Friendly welcome from owners, welcome package an added bonus, the cottage was fully fitted out , spacious and comfortable, couldn't have asked for a more relaxing holiday.

A working farm and a lane to the cottage so remote and lovely views around. It is a lovely base to discover the wonders of Pembrokeshire.
