everything just made it seem like a dream! looking forward to returning in the near future as honestly it felt like home! Andrea and Stuart couldn't be more welcoming and make it hard to say goodbye. booked for the accessibility of the property but returning for EVERYTHING else! much, much love!

  • "Wow, what a hidden treasure!"

We had an incredible time here. The children absolutely loved it - the cottage is located on a farm with so many different animals which was wonderful for the children. There is also a small little park and trampoline which was a great added bonus. The hot tub was amazing, sitting in there at night listening to all the owls talking to each other was beautiful. The photos on the website haven’t been updated for a while, but the cottage itself is stunning. Stu & Andrea are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much!

  • "The cottage was comfortable warm and clean."

Location was too remote for us but that wasn’t anyone’s fault. It’s a working farm which is great but some areas were very run down and full of building materials/rubbish so a bit unsightly. No mops to keep floors clean the only one we could find was outside all rusted up. Owners nice and friendly . Local village lovely

  • "I was dubious about a cottage holiday with the family and two dogs but was incredibly surprised by how it turned out."

Barn cottage is lovely and the hosts, Andrea and Stuart, were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is a little difficult to find but, once you get there, you realise how much thought has been put into it. It is very well equipped including a dishwasher, washing machine and hot-tub and extremely peaceful. The variety of animals around are a bonus and it's great to open the door in the morning and see the goats and chickens trying to get in. We're already telling our friends about the place.

  • "It was a fantastic accommodation and the hot tub was out of this world."

Beautiful location and ideal for dog owners. As it is enclosed by a solid wall and the garden/patio area is big and spacious. With seating and a bbq and an added bonus of a rotary pole, toddlers slide and seasaw. TV in every room, easy to adjust temperature and was lovely and warm. Very friendly and helpful owners whom were easy to talk too and very informative . We loved the owls and feeding the Raccoons. The welcome pack was such a lovely surprise and very generous too We will be back

  • "The holiday cottage was lovely."

The owners were also lovely and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities such as the hot tub and wet room were perfect. We enjoyed the animals and popping down to visit them and feeding them. We were given a tour of the animals and told a little bit about them all which was really interesting and fun. Our party aged from 2 to 79 with one wheelchair user and every one had a good time. The cottage is on a working farm so if you don't enjoy being around that then it wouldn't be for you but we were really happy and thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • "Hot tub amazing- great quality- definitely a good selling point Host very friendly which makes this hard to write- 4 stars- I’d expect towels, hair drier, tea towel, leashing up cloth, hoover or dustpan n brush- non of these things were in the property."

The immediate outside courtyard was clean and tidy but the rest of the farm was very scruffy - We had a few technical problems with hot water so didn’t have any for the last day , whilst the hosts were great at trying to fix it they couldn’t- thankfully there was an electric shower so we could have warm showers. The host work on old caravans and temporary office huts which are on site and can be a bit noisy with banging and sawing at times - Maybe it was early in the season but the site needed a good tidy - Accommodation was clean and pleasant Hosts friendly and helpful Finally hot tub was definitely the selling point and amazing- it was huge with fab different jets xx

Andrea and Stu have really made the cottage a special place for their guests! Waking up to the goats and donkeys was just wonderful! The hot tub was perfect and under shelter and even though we were 6 girls celebrating a birthday, not once was any noise complained about as Andrea and Stu want you to have the best time you can there. We will definitely be returning to Barn Cottages!!!

All the animals really made this stay extra special too (horses, goats, owls, raccoons, meerkats, cat, dog, peacocks, chickens, donkeys, alpacas) plus we all loved warming up in the hot tub as we visited late October with our 2 boys aged 5 and 2 and our border collie. Thank you
