Golden Grove Cottages

Sleeping up to 14 guests in 3 cottages in the same courtyard setting. Barcud sleeps 4, Gwennol sleeps 4 and Sewin sleeps 6. Fabulous valley views. Bike storage.

The property

Sewin Cottage is one of three cottages enjoying an idyllic location in Carmarthenshire with stunning views towards the Brecon Beacons. The village of Golden Grove is about 1 mile from the cottages and the Town of Llandeilo is three miles away in the heart of the Towy Valley and offers individual shops, galleries, pubs, delicatessens and eateries for all tastes. Carmarthenshire is fondly known as the Garden of Wales and the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney (a garden lost in time) are close-by.

The river Towy has excellent Salmon and Sewin (sea trout) fishing, whilst for those wanting more, the cottages are located between several excellent mid-Wales mountain bike trails.

You can enjoy a fabulous woodland walk from the front door or explore Carreg Cennen Castle.

The owners have a small herd of rare breeds sheep in the paddock beside the cottages. There is plenty of wildlife too with red kites, owls, badgers and deer regularly seen.

The Gower Peninsular is well worth an hour drive with Three Cliffs Bay and Mumbles while an hour in the other direction are the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. This is a perfect location for exploring mid and South Wales, the Gower Peninsular and Brecon Beacons.
