You have direct access to a path following a pretty stream leading to a sheltered south facing cove, perfect for swimming and coasteering though you may get waylaid by the all ages legendary tree swing on the way.

The cove must be one of the most interesting to swim in and explore with a small waterfall to swim under into a shallow cave at high tide and a natural diving pool in the rocks to enjoy at low tide.

SOLVA

St Davids 6 miles; Haverfordwest 12 miles.

A superb village around a tidal harbour where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, gift shops, art galleries and a nearby superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales. Lazy days sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide and the boats bobbing in and out of the harbour are a sheer delight. Visit the nearby woollen mill itself to sit by the waterwheel, go into the weaving shed or enjoy a break in the cafe. Just a few miles from Solva you can visit St Davids, the smallest city in Britain, with its magnificent St Davids Cathedral and wander the small streets to again find unique gifts, eat a hearty meal or an afternoon tea, or just sit in the peaceful grounds of the cathedral, it also houses Oriel y Parc an information centre offering suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. Whitesands Bay with its superb beach offers relaxing days or maybe some surfing. Take boat trips to spot dolphins and wonderful sea birds or take bike rides along country roads.
