⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a beautiful place!
We had a wonderful weekend at Pen Y Banc and couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. There were seven adults, two little ones and a dog in our group, and we had more than enough space for everyone. The property was spotlessly clean, incredibly well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially sitting under the stars, even on a wet and windy evening! We also loved having the goats nearby to feed, which was such a lovely little touch. The location is fantastic too, with plenty of beautiful villages and towns to explore nearby. We spent a lovely day in Hay-on-Wye, which is definitely worth a visit. All in all, a fantastic place to spend a weekend with family and friends. We made some wonderful memories and would absolutely recommend Pen Y Banc to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape!
What a lovely place to stay.
The property had everything you needed and more and the views over the valley were fantastic, you could sit outside for hours or in the hot tub and never get bored. The wildlife was great with red kites and buzzards flying above and squirrels and rabbits running around. They also had pigmy goats which you could feed and were fun to watch. The owner was very friendly and helpful and there were lots of places to visit. Would definitely return.
Pen Y Banc is very spacious - there's plenty of room for up to 8 people, including multiple bathrooms - and the views are fabulous.
Plenty of bin liners, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc were provided. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for food storage, preparation and cooking. Some of the places that you might want to visit on a day out are still a bit of a drive away, but that was more than made up for by the lovely accommodation and views.
