Sarah and Bruce, the owners, could not be more friendly or helpful and have provided everything required to make your holiday a very relaxing experience.

  • "The Parlour has everything required for your stay."

It is ideal for your dogs with an enclosed garden to the rear of accommodation and plenty of grounds to exercise them. Nice touches were the free range eggs and the dog treats provided by the hosts.

  • "WE really liked The Parlour."

We were met and greeted by the owners, Sarah and Bruce, who explained all that we needed to know about the cottage, also the many walks available in the local area for us and our dog to enjoy. There was a welcome pack left for us in the cottage with treats and poo bags for the dog. The cottage is very well equipped, nicely furnished, clean and cosy. The cottage, as it says in the description, is reached by a long farm track which could be difficult for very low slung vehicles, I believe that this is due for improvement in the near future.

  • "We had a really lovely week at The Parlour."

The cottage is spacious, really well equipped and we found it really clean when we arrived. The welcome pack is a lovely touch with coffee, eggs and even some dog treats! The welcome folder has plenty of useful info for things to do and places to go in the area. The rear garden is lovely for a morning brew, and is very dog safe. We loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars, and even managed to get a photo of the milky way on my phone! We'd recommend a full empty/clean/refill of the hot tub after two or three uses. As per the description, the track to the Parlour is a farm track (not a road) but we had absolutely no problems with it. Thanks for a fab week, we will hopefully be back soon!

  • "We had a very enjoyable holiday in a lovely setting."

The Parlour is a beautiful cottage, decorated to a high standard, immaculately clean and is an a perfect place to explore the area. Owners, Sarah and Bruce, were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. On arrival there was some lovely little touches for both humans and dogs! There was also lots of space to walk our dogs in adjacent fields and they even made some new friends with the owners goats and chickens! Will definitely be back!

  • "We found the property to be immaculate, spacious and well equipped in a very peaceful location."

It was a nice touch that milk, tea, coffee etc were left for us and even treats for our dog. If I have to make one negative remark, it would be that the bedroom would better suit a king size bed, but apart from that, everything was perfect.
