  • "Di & Matt the property owners have been extremely thoughtful in the furnishing of The Nest."

    The layout, the furniture chosen, kitchen equipment and utensils provided are all great. The small touches including an umbrella, torch, recycling boxes, kitchen foil, clingfilm, cooking oil, washing up liquid, cloths & sponge, dishwasher tabs, hairdryer, hot water bottle, plus the welcome basket of goodies and milk in the fridge on arrival were so appreciated. The property location is rural & blissfully quiet and well placed for exploring Pembrokeshire. Colby Gardens and Stackpole (both National Trust) are wonderful visits, as is Carew Castle and Tidal Mill. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path offers breath-taking views of the rugged wild coastline and of course visits to Amroth, Tenby, Sandersfoot and St David's are essential. There is a Texaco garage (on the A477 at Llanteg just before you turn off to reach the property) this has a small shop for food basics and the cheapest fuel (at the time of writing this anyway). The Co-op in Kilgetty is only a 10 minute drive away for a wider choice of groceries etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our restful stay at The Nest and exploring such a wonderful part of the UK. We highly recommend The Nest. Thanks to Di & Matt for creating a lovely haven.

  • "A wonderful place."

    Small and cosy, in a lovely part of the country. The property was beautiful, lovely and clean. The owners couldn't do enough, from a lovely little hamper, to fresh eggs from the two chickens they had. The facilities were great. We had everything we needed right from the moment we got there. I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a nice holiday.

    It contained everything we needed for a week's stay. Perfect for 2 people in a scenic area. The owner was very helpful and left us a starter pack containing useful items and treats.

  • "The only thing for us was the matress was too hard and on the last night I didn't sleep at all."

    I realise for lots of people it would be fine but I have knee and hip problems and found it difficult to get comfortable. Other than that we both loved it and couldve stayed a lot longer. It's private and quiet and very central for lots of places to see. We would definately return and recommend it to our friends and family

  • "An excellent place nice and quiet, owners friendly and helpful."

    Very clean with all you need to make you comfortable. Website doesn’t mention there are deep steps up to get to the property, with loose chipping pathways. Anyone with mobility problems would find it difficult. We struggled at times especially unloading and reloading car . Other than that we found it a perfect place to stay.

  • "We had a lovely stay at 'The Nest'."

    Spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy. Everything we needed was provided such as towels, fire wood, coals, fairy liquid and it was well stocked. We had a lovely welcome hamper basket with essentials and treats provided such as milk and bread, which was very handy for us. Hosts were very welcoming, and quick to answer any enquiries. Some great views for a sunset in the accommodation and a great base to explore Pembroke. Thank you Diane & Matt ☺️

  • "Owners Matt and Di could not do enough, and the cottage itself was a slice of heaven."

    The tranquility and the beauty of the venue was so exceptional that I immediately booked a week at the same time next year - something I have never done before. I was holidaying alone (my wife is a full-time grandma!) but the cottage was so welcoming that I felt wonderfully at home. Absolutely magical x

The Nest & The Stable, known as Llanteg Barns, are a beautiful pairing of converted stone-built barns, benefitting from off road parking in a quaint rural location. Ideal for couples wanting to exploring Pembrokeshire and the surrounding wonders of Wales. Both properties offer an enclosed private garden with patio area, as well as open-plan living and contemporary appliances, within the well fitted kitchens. It is perfectly positioned to explore some of the highlights of Pembrokeshire. Amroth is the nearest beach, just three miles away, with free parking. There is also access to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Pembrokeshire offers an ideal location for hiking, mountain biking and watersports. All of this can be enjoyed from Llanteg Barns.
