    Thank you for your comment and bringing this to our attention. The cottage has been fully booked since March and no one else has commented that the bed was uncomfortable but we will nonetheless check it out and replace if necessary. Pendre Cottages

Next door cottages, both sleeping four guests. Each with its own garden and parking. Both a short walk to the centre of Newport or the beach.

The property

Just a short walk from Parrog beach, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the centre of Newport, this comfortable and welcoming cottage makes a perfect base for a couple or a small family.

Newport has a fine selection of pubs, shops, galleries and restaurants and a weekly local produce market.

The larger beach at Traethmawr is a mile and a half walk along the estuary (home to many bird species) and is backed by the 18 hole Newport Links Golf Club. Nearby towns are Cardigan, St Dogmaels, Fishguard, St Davids and Haverfordwest.

Beaches to explore are Poppit Sands, Ceibwr Bay, Whitesands and Cwm yr Eglwys.

Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round.
