The accommodation at Mill View was spotless and had everything you might need for your stay. The location was close to both coast and towns. Plenty of places to eat near by. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to family and friends visiting Pembrokeshire. Had a wonderful weeks stay!

Only minor gripe was the generally low temperature in the kitchen which made breakfasts a little nippy. First floor temperature control was spot on through-out. The excellent bathroom would benefit from a hand-towel rail alongside the basin. Many thanks for the "welcome hamper"

  • "Mill View is absolutely fabulous."

We were more than happy with the cottage which is situated in the grounds next door to the owners home (but with your own space and privacy). The grounds and surrounding area is in a beautiful quiet country setting. The Brunel walking and cycling trail is only 2 minutes by car from the cottage where you can park up and walk to the Neyland Marina. Here you can get food/refreshments at the cafe/restaurant/bar which has dog friendly tables to sit at outside. The cottage itself is very modern, clean and comfortable and has all the necessary amenities/requirements included. I think Pam and Christopher have thought of everything to make this a first class home from home. We must commend them both on the high standard of thought and work they must have put into Mill View in making this cottage such an amazing place to stay. Many thanks both for all your help and the gorgeous food hamper provided. Hope to see you again Best wishes Martin, Gail & Jess

Pam and Chris are very friendly and helpful while being discreet, they welcomed us warmly and had lots of local knowledge. The area is full of the most beautiful and spectacular costal scenery, particularly useful if you are a National trust member as there are many sites and convenient car parks, to help you make the most of the area. • "Had the most relaxing stay that anyone could ask for."

Stayed in West wales many a time but this was by far the most relaxing and comfortable of them all. Chris and Pam were amazing hosts and our luna had a fab time running around the open lawn at 100 miles an hour. Would and hopefully be booking to stay here again next year. Also loved to fact that we didn't have to drive to get a nice walk, literally down the hill and safe for the dog. Couldn't fault a thing. Specially the lovely welcome hamper with a bottle of wine!! X

Thanks for the very positive and complimentary feedback Tracey. We'd be very happy to welcome you back to Mill View again next year. Hope that the eye problem has been sorted out and that generally all is well with you in Dinky Poo. Best wishes from Chris & Pam. Property Owner

(Well, fantastic weather, which we also received). The annex is beautifully planned and was spotlessly clean. We found the location to be ideal for our walking holiday, being convenient for so many breathtaking walks along the stunning coast path. The local trailway to either Neyland or Johnston , made from a disused railway line, is within 200 metres and is worth a visit. Heartily recommended.

Chris and Pam are lovely hosts, always on hand to offer advice about places to visit etc. Broad haven beach is only a short drive away, it is beautiful there. There are other beaches within a 30 minute drive. There are lovely walks and bike rides straight from the cottage. We walked to Neyland on a number of occasions. We would definitely return

We arrived to find a wonderful welcome hamper which included freshly laid eggs from the owners hens. Chris greeted us when we arrived and both Chris and Pam checked in when ever we saw them to see if everything was ok or if they could offer advice on places to visit. The location was ideal to visit places both to the north and south and we never had to travel more than 40 minutes to find fantastic beaches and interesting places for days out. Being situated just outside the village of Rosemarket, right next to the Brunel trail and scenic Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, we are ideally placed for easy access to many miles of the Pembrokeshire coastline on both sides of the Cleddau Estuary.

You will find we are midway between the major towns of Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Pembroke offering a wide range of historical sites and other places of interest.

On entering the property you will walk into a fully fitted and well equipped spacious kitchen diner, a welcoming bright and modern space.

Climb the stairs into a relaxing airy living area, a pleasant and inviting room where you can enjoy views over the surrounding countryside from the second floor windows.

Beyond the living room you will find the bathroom and bedroom.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and basin.

The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed that can be converted into two 2’ 6’’ single beds.

This along with a pull out bed settee in the living room allows for a variety of sleeping options.

Amongst the many local attractions and activities is the Brunel Trail, ideal for walking or cycling and right on our door step.

It is a traffic free path linking Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest.

The site of the reservoir which fed the steam trains is on Mill View land and the main property started life as the reservoir keeper’s cottage.

You will find the attractive Marina at Neyland boasts a bar, restaurant and cafe which are all worth a visit and within walking distance; as is the Huntsman Inn in Rosemarket.

Mill View is a lovely property, whether it is for a family getaway or a couples retreat it offers a tranquil setting for all ages.

We live next to the holiday accommodation so will usually be on hand to attend to any issues you may have.
