"Overall, very positive and pleasant experience."
There were missing towels/beddings but was resolved very quickly. Liked the place and atmosphere. Two points to improve: wifi signal (very good outside of the property but not inside) and barbecue facility should be cleaned/updated.

"I stayed two weeks, seeing elderly parents."
Mum poorly. I was born in Tenby and I now live away, so for me it was a base rather than holiday. However the area and the cottages are in a beautiful setting, my children, grandchildren, friends & their dogs joined me at the weekends, owner & staff couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly (Just like the Welsh, although I may be a tiny bit biased)
Internet & WiFi a bit sketchy due to weather and location, but Owen the owner sorted it out with a phone call & once you know where the best reception is (Living room, bathroom & upstairs bedroom to be precise) it becomes the norm.
Plenty of towels provided, logs supplied for log burner, the beds could do with new mattresses & duvets, not the most comfortable I’m afraid and I found the pitch forks, guns & saws on the walls a bit difficult to get used too, not very cosy, sorry. My family & their friends weren’t bothered, found it highly amusing, renamed the place “Saw Cottage “ that said, we will definitely be booking again, they had a great time despite the pitch forks, uncomfortable beds & slightly dated decor. Otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay, pet and family friendly. My granddaughter loved the play area and the Llamas, it’s a great base to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast & countryside.

"The cottage was in ideal spot to sightsee, yet there was an issue with flies in the cottage."
As well as the issue of Wi-Fi. It's shocking.
Thank you for leaving feedback, despite asking for picture evidence of flies during your your stay, no evidence of this has been provided. The property has been thoroughly checked and no flies were found, we have also not received any other complaints of this nature. At the time of your stay BT have confirmed there was a fault on the line that was slowing the connection to the WIFI, the property still had WIFI but the connection would not as been as fast as usual. If you had made us aware of this during your stay, we could have contacted BT and resolved the issue straight away, as you did not make us aware we were unable to rectify this for you. Property Owner

"The mail with access instruction provided a code to a key box, in case the front door had been found locked - which indeed it was - but no keys could be found there; no information was received that the flat could be accessed by a second door, which only emerged after an unnecessary additional call."
The flat had not been cleaned sufficiently. Dirty dishes were found (photos are available on request), the rubbish bin was sticky and filthy, the radiators in the bathroom were very dusty, and so were all floors and other furniture surfaces - presumably sofas had not been hoovered and were not any cleaner.
On departure, we were requested to "ensure all dishes are washed and put away.", which suggests that the cleaning is delegated to the last guest rather than the property.
The request to "remove linen from beds" on departure and place linen and towels in the bag provided also seemed rather unusual. If covid-related measures are the reason for this procedure, then they should have also required a higher standard of cleanliness of at least the property's washable surfaces.

"Heather Cottage we found to be a great base for what we required."
It wasn’t the best of times to visit due to the Corona Virus but we had a Great time.
The Cottage was very clean and the utensils there were excellent.
The only downside was the owners at the back of us who would let their constantly yapping dog out in the early morning and sometimes leave it out all day,it really got on our nerves at times.
