“The bungalow was spotlessly clean with everything you would need on a holiday and possibly more.”

It was just like home from home. It was extremely well equipped. The owners were next door and greeted us when we arrived and also called in before we left - what a personal touch. We could not have asked for more. The village was a walk away and as we were on holiday we used a local pub for our evening meal. This was Royal Oak Inn - the food was excellent as was the service - they made us feel most welcome and accommodated our needs.

The property

Nestled down a quiet country lane, just paces from the village centre of Saundersfoot and with pleasant walks from the door, is this lovely dormer bungalow.

The accommodation is located next to the owner's home, a stone's throw from the golden beach and sweeping crescent-shaped bay, hosting inspiring views out to sea.

The interior plays host to a spacious lounge, where you can relax the evening away with a hot cup of tea and the company of your loved ones.

An attractive feature fireplace rests within a stone surround, while the wood flooring is decorated with a plush rug taking centre stage.

For some quiet times, move into the conservatory next door with your favourite book, where the outdoors can be enjoyed all year-round.

Rustle up a delicious meal in the kitchen, which is adjoined by a handy utility and cloakroom, and dine together at the large dining table set for six.

Completing this charming property is a ground floor twin and double bedroom, followed by a spacious shower room featuring a large walk-in shower.

Climb the stairs to the master room, which is bright and airy, resting under the eaves, with views over the established garden.

On a warm afternoon, you can retreat to the patio with a glass of something cold and enjoy the lovely scenery flourishing around you.

A short stroll will bring you to all the delights of Saundersfoot centre, including shops, pubs and eateries, as well as its vibrant harbour and Blue Flag beach.

Amble along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which will take you to the ancient walled town of Tenby and beyond.

Bask on its award-winning beaches and take a boat trip to the monastic Island of Caldey.

Other attractions in the area include the vintage fun fair at Folly Farm and thrilling rides at Oakwood Theme Park, as well as the south-westerly facing beach at Freshwater West, owned by the National trust and featured in the final Harry Potter film.

Enjoy a quality break in one of Wales' most beautiful settings along the Pembrokeshire coast.
