It was well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of storage and space . Well situated for getting out and about , the hill back up was hard work but we got used to it by the end of the week . We had a lovely holiday. Thank you

  • "July 2023 - we have just had a splendid week at Pinewood, clean, comfortable and everything to make our stay memorable."

Easy to get to Saundersfoot and Tenby and parking fees were reasonable. Great walks for dog owners, just across the road, forest walks and a path to the Glen beach, marvellous, our dog had a wonderful time. We also did the walk to Wiseman's Bridge which was easy and manageable-five stars from us, thank you.

Thank your very much for your feedback, we really appreciate your comments, and we’re pleased that you (and your dog) had such a great week. Property Owner

  • "Pinewood is a gorgeous cottage in a wonderful location."

It is well maintained and very clean, comfortable and spacious inside with a beautiful garden outside. I was a bit concerned about the garden not being ‘fully enclosed ‘ and have chatted to the owner about this, but it didn’t by any means spoil our stay here. We have two mad escaping spaniels and they will find the smallest gap in a hedge so we did keep them on their leads when we sat outside. Parking is tight at the front of the property but we parked at the back of the cottage where there is space for two cars and it’s much easier to get in and out. We found we hardly used the car all week because the location is ideal for walking to Saundersfoot, Wiseman’s Bridge, Amroth, Tenby and beyond and you can always catch the bus back if you need it! There is also a lovely wooded path down to Glen Beach, which is dog friendly, and where you can stroll along to Monkstone Beach at the tip of the headland when the tide is low. We have had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Pinewood and would happily return in the future.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and very much hope that you'll have the opportunity to return in the future. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely week with our Springer Spaniel Charlie staying at Pinewood in Saundersfoot."

The garden was lovely and the property spotless. It was quite a steep walk up the hill back to Pinewood which we were OK with but maybe not for someone with walking difficulties although there was a bus stop not far from the property.

Many thanks for your feedback, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. The walk up St Bride's Lane is certainly on the steep side, though I've found it easier going up Broadfield Hill, the road that overlooks the harbour and goes past St Bride's Hotel. As you say the bus stop is just across the road from the house, so that's always an option. Property Owner

  • "It should be stated that you need a university degree in reversing to get out of the front of the cottage, Couldn't find any instructions for the coffee maker, it was totally different from our own, lovely cottage for a break."

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad that you enjoyed your break. We will definitely find some instructions for the Nespresso machine. The parking area outside the front of the house is small, I admit, but there is the large gravel parking area by the garden, for the exclusive use of Pinewood guests. This is useful for larger cars. • "Property was not cleaned till 7pm on day of arrival."

Rubbish left by bin. Had to buy our own loo rolls. No response to my email to you regarding suitable compensation. Property itself was good and as described but the start and lack of response has obviously affected our view of the stay.

We'd like to apologise again for the disruption the start of your stay. Arriving at a property that has not been cleaned is obviously very disappointing. As you know, this was due to the previous guests getting confused about their departure date, which then led to a delay in the cleaning. The owner of the cleaning company visited you to apologise, offered a small gift of a bottle of wine, then completed the cleaning and restocking within a few hours. Our understanding is that the rest of your stay went well (but perhaps not the Pembrokeshire weather...), and we appreciated the positive personal feedback you sent us via txt. Property Owner
