About the location

SCURLAGE

Swansea 14 miles; Rhossili 3.5 miles; Port Eynon 1.5 miles.

Scurlage is a small village, named after the family who built a fortified manor house, although none of the remains of ‘Scurlage Castle’ have survived. This little village is between the popular beachside villages of Rhossili and Port Eynon and is close to the fantastic beaches of the Gower Peninsula including Oxwich Bay. A perfect central location to be a short distance from fantastic coastline and the iconic Worms Head. The little village has various footpaths crisscrossing the area, a pub, shop, pharmacy, doctors surgery and take-away, but still retains its sleepy village personality. In the summer, why not take a trip to the village Strawberry farm to pick up some seasonal delights for dessert.
