We loved it for the solitude and isolation , but possibly that would not suit everyone. Bob and Rowena were exceptional hosts to us and our two dogs. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. We have already booked again for this Autumn

  • "This property is superb."

Great accommodation, super fixtures and fittings and very clean. Shower room was amazing. Good to have access to Netflix and Amazon prime (through our own accounts). Location is really quiet. Owners very friendly and helpful. Great welcome pack on arrival with wine, Welsh cakes, fresh eggs, milk, teabags and coffee. Good supply of logs and kindling for the log burner. If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you.

  • "I was given a warm welcome by the owners and felt very much at home and happy for the whole week of my stay."

The bungalow has a spacious living/dining and kitchen area equipped for everything one needs. There were some edible extras left for me, which were much-appreciated. I was prepared to be self-sufficient, not wanting to over-use the car and this preparation was worthwhile. The location is very peaceful, the sitting-out area at the south-facing back and surrounding garden really lovely. All in all a very good place to stay.

  • "The barn was a little peace of heaven, sooo peaceful and relaxed with everthing you could possibly want."

The barn was spotlessly clean, it had a wonderful comfortable bed and a great shower you didnt want to get out of! Amazing views of the countryside on the little patio where it was wonderful to sit with a glass of wine watching the sun go down and the ducks, chickens and geese waddling past! The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful and especially in our hour of need were so very kind. I would definately recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting peace, tranquility and a place to unwind and relax away from it all.

Plenty of space - all the equipment you could want - the bathroom had a great shower! Location was really peaceful and the view out of the french windows was wonderful! Bob & Rowena were very helpful and supplied a "welcome pack" ! The area has plenty of places of interest to visit and the single track roads give some marvelous views of the countryside and because we went in June were very quiet - just be aware there were plenty of tractors about whilst we were there so you don't rush anywhere! Thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed & comfortable place to stay!
