.. We had an amazing stay, a really lovely house and everyone enjoyed. Great location with the cafe next door, and only a five mins drive into Usk.

Thank you so much for your kind review Miriam, it was our pleasure to host you and your friends. Hope to see you all again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Lovely comfortable property."

Only slight suggestion cottage could be a little warmer. We appreciated the little touches like cups and dishes for young children.

I’m so pleased you loved our cottage and thank you so much for the feedback. I’m sorry you didn’t find the cottage warm enough, we are always on hand to put the temperature up remotely if needed, this is detailed in the guest book but I will re-look at it today and make sure the information is clearly listed for future guests. Hopefully we get to host you and the family again in the future Property Owner

  • "Fantastic place in a lovely part of Wales."

We had a large group of 9 plus one dog and had lots of room... even an extra bedroom that we didn't need. Very welcoming and accommodating owners who went out of their way to get everything just right for us. Added bonus of the lovely cafe connected to the site, which does a fabulous breakfast! We would be very happy to recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the region.

Thanks so much for your kind review, we are so pleased you liked the Christmas tree. Hopefully we get chance to host you and your family again in the future. Property Owner

All the facilities you could need, amazing kitchen fully stocked with all crockery/pots/utensils/ kids crockery etc. Hele and Rob were wonderful hosts, provided all baby equipment for us so we didn't have to bring it and even put up a Christmas tree for me! Literally couldn't recommend enough! X

  • "The main thing was the location of the property needs to be more accurately described as it is off the main (B) road rather than up Church Lane."

Hi Gareth, Thank you so much for this fabulous review. We were really gutted that there was an issue with our instructions, especially after your long journey. Unfortunately, with us being brand new hosts, we hadn't seen that Sykes had the location loaded incorrectly. We have now updated these for our future guests and just want to apologise again for the inconvenience. We hope to host you all again soon! Helene and Rob Property Owner
