  • "A beautiful house, thoughtfully designed, fitted and decorated."

    Nice space outside, front and back. Excellent fridge freezer. Great smart TV with good wifi. Comfortable beds. Lovely kitchen and lovely dining area. The open plan living area works well. It's in a quiet hamlet and we enjoyed dog walks around the lanes as well as being in a good position to get out and about by car to some great places to visit. It was a very pleasant and relaxing week. We'd love to book again.

  • "This accommodation is outstanding, has everything you need, very clean and tidy, lovely open plan, and plenty of room in the front for off road parking and plenty of room in the back for sitting out and loved how the hot tub was on an upper level."

    All enclosed within in an outer fence so your pet can have the run of the back, or front safe in the knowledge that they can't get out. Chloe (owner) couldn't have been more helpful when I asked about walks in the area, she sent a very detailed message over with lot's of information of local attractions and things to do. Welcome pack was a lovely touch and went the extra mile, I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough, we will definitely be going back!!!!!

  • "Clean modern property with all the mod cons."

    Great to have three bathrooms as well. The welcome basket with goodies was brilliant, thank you. The owners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother if you needed help with anything. Good location for exploring the area. Countryside, beaches, restaurants and pubs. Heritage Steam Trains about an hours drive away, but all worth the trip. “The Harp” at Letterston was amazing, great service and great food, plenty of parking. Ocean Lab Aquarium at Goodwick worth a visit, lovely cafe and beach with a lovely fish and chip shop just round the corner. Newgate beach is also worth a visit, huge/long beach with “The Peebles Cafe” for food and drinks.

  • "Lovely property."

    A real home from home. Excellent welcome basket. Very clean, comfortable and modern. Bedrooms and bathrooms all of a good size. Lovely patio and garden area. A parasol is needed on the patio and fans are needed in the bedrooms. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

  • "The house was in a beautiful position and had everything that we needed inside."

    It was lovely to have a large table to sit around and the sofa was very comfortable. The cooking facilities were great and the bedroom sizes were brilliant. We loved the garden and all of the colourful flowers. We will definitely return when next in Pembrokeshire.

  • "The holiday cottage was lovely, a lovely welcome pack on arrival."

    The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could need. The hosts were great helping with any query / problems and checking the hot tub daily. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. The only suggestion I would make is that when we have stayed in other properties a good reference folder of places to visit and places to eat that take pets etc is very useful.

  • "Absolutely lovely home beautifully decorated."

    Nice relaxed but luxury feel. The owners super friendly, communicated well about the property and checking the hot tub levels. Would 100% recommend to family and friends looking for a nice relaxing stay. My only complaints / suggestions is there was a lack of cooking utensils eg. Spatulas, serving spoons. Everything else was provided. Small suggestion for the owners is that the garden all though would look fully secure from first glance behind the hot tub there is a wall / mound of big stones that lead to the left side of the garden from the grass area. Unfortunately a dog like mine which is an escape artist would climb this which would allow them to access the massive field behind the house and escape the garden. My suggestion is just a small picket fence that blocks the section off past the hot tub pump for full security. However despite these few suggestions the house and the facilities much outweighed the small issues. Would definitely return in the future

Apologies that you were unable to find the kitchen utensils during your stay they are situated in the top right hand draw of the kitchen island next to the cooker. This draw has been missed by guests before so I have now included it in the welcome message to prevent this happening again, thank you for letting us know. Yes, we can never guarantee a secure garden for dogs no matter how much fencing we put up unfortunately as we know all too well they can be extremely crafty! (Our two girls will even jump gates) We will of course consider your suggestion when we next have to do maintenance on the garden. Thank you so much for booking with us and we hope you do return in the future!   • "A beautifully presented property in a lovely peaceful little village approximately 10 minutes drive from Haverfordwest , the hosts have thought of everything to make sure you have a comfortable stay , very modern stylish design throughout, we loved the hot tub in the landscaped back garden which was lovely to relax in after a day out exploring with our dogs."

    The cottage is very dog friendly as well , we'll definitely return in the future.

  • "Probably our favourite staycation property!"

    Like most people it is hard to switch off from work, so it is so important for us to get away and reconnect. The Grove certainly delivers. A great property, designed well with calming colours, finished to a high standard. Small details like matching hardware for bathrooms were noticed. Great space for 6 people, however, it did not feel too big for 2 humans and a large dog. Garden is great and caters for all. A little welcome hamper was received on arrival and there is a handy amount of essentials such as bin bags, washing powders and sauces etc. Which usually catch you out. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Simon, Chloe and baby Esme.

  • "The house is lovely, and very well appointed."

    All the furnishing and finishes are to a high standard. It’s in a quiet location, which may not suite everyone but it was ideal for what we wanted and if you have a car then it’s fine. If you are looking for relaxation then this is ideal, especially with the hot tub. It’s great that 1 of the bedrooms is downstairs so if anyone struggles with stairs it’s perfect. The upstairs bedrooms are lovely both with nice en-suites. The owners were in touch to let us know how to get in etc and when they would be coming to make sure the hot tub was all ok. I would definitely recommend the house and would book again if I wanted to visit the area.

  • "The Grove is located in a very peaceful location, but with the convenience of shops and supermarkets only a few miles away."

    There is beautiful countryside, beaches and stunning costal walks, all within easy reach. The property itself has been finished to a high standard and offers very comfortable accommodation and excellent outside space. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending The Grove.

  • "This is an outstanding holiday cottage."

    The accommodation is well-proportioned and superbly fitted out to a very high quality standard. Very comfortable (inside and out), with excellent en-suite facilities for each bedroom. The hot-tub was an enjoyable bonus. Hosts, Simon and Chloe were easily contactable and obliging. Although Haverfordwest (15 min) and Newgale Beach (25 min) are not too far away, the nature of the roads leading to the village of Wolfsdale makes it somewhat remote. However, for us, this provided the retreat facility that we wanted. We would definitely revisit.
