After parking up at the rear of the property, you’ll be greeted by a traditional stone façade.

After tucking away bikes or walking gear in the secure garage, you’ll enter through the rear into a practical utility space—perfect for shedding layers and muddy boots after a day in the hills.

From here, the home opens into a bold and expressive kitchen/diner, where vibrant pink walls and monochrome geometric flooring set a playful tone.

Sleek surfaces and contemporary fittings invite you to prepare hearty meals, while a wall-mounted map near the dining table sparks ideas for tomorrow’s adventures.

The red hallway leads into a striking orange sitting room, where plush sofas and a soft rug beckon you to sink in and unwind.

A stone fireplace cradles the woodburning stove, its gentle crackle setting the tone for relaxed evenings.

A Smart TV offers entertainment, whether you're catching up on a favourite series or enjoying a quiet film night.

When it’s time to rest, the ground-floor king-size bedroom offers a peaceful and private retreat, complete with a stylishly tiled en-suite shower room.

Feel the carpet beneath your feet as you ascend the stairs, drawn towards a landing bathed in natural light from a Velux window, where stylish hanging lights add a touch of elegance overhead.

Upstairs, the second king-size bedroom offers a space to truly relax, with a freestanding bath positioned for long, indulgent soaks after a day in the hills.

The twin bedroom completes the sleeping arrangements, offering a welcoming space for children or friends.

All bedrooms have soft lighting and warm hues that create a calming atmosphere, while artwork on the walls and a plush rug near the beds invite you to pause and unwind before climbing under the covers.

A sleek, tiled shower room on the ground floor adds flexibility, ensuring everyone has space to refresh and recharge.

Outside, the private garden offers a lush lawn where pets can roam freely, and mornings begin with coffee in the crisp Highland air.

With a shop and pub just a short stroll away, and Royal Deeside’s treasures within easy reach, Lindean places you at the heart of it all.

In nearby Braemar, discover the historic Braemar Castle, wander the grounds of the Highland Games Centre, or hike the trails of Morrone Birkwood.

A scenic drive north brings you to Grantown-on-Spey, where you can sample local whiskies at the Speyside Distillery, stroll the Anagach Woods, or fish along the River Spey.

Venture east to the vibrant city of Aberdeen, where you can explore the cobbled streets of Old Aberdeen, visit the Aberdeen Maritime Museum, or enjoy a day by the sea at Footdee’s quirky fishing village.

Where you’ll be staying

BALLATER

Braemar 17 miles; Grantown-on-Spey 38.5 miles; Aberdeen 40 miles.

Situated on the banks of the River Dee, the delightful village of Ballater is a centre for tourism and has much to offer visitors to the area, particularly because of its location in the Cairngorms National Park and its close proximity to Balmoral Castle. This attractive village has a lovely neat village green, specialist shops, charming tea rooms and superior granite cottages, all adding to its genteel ambience. The River Dee flows through Ballater and is well renowned for its salmon fishing during the fishing season. Royal Deeside is so-called because of its connection to the Royal Family, who have frequently visited the town since the time of Queen Victoria. There is excellent walking all around the area, as well as outdoor activities such as cycling, golf, skiing or wildlife excursions. The popular centres of Grantown-on-Spey and Aviemore are within easy reach, as is the city of Aberdeen.
