A beautiful and funky cottage in Ballater.

Peaceful with all amenities. Great size of enclosed garden for the dogs who loved running about. Would highly recommend and will definitely do a return visit.

A fantastic property, a short walk from the shops/restaurants, with everything we needed for our short stay.

Modern decor in all areas and a bright sunny kitchen. A great base for exploring the area and we were lucky enough to be there for the Ballater Duck Festival which brought a buzz to the town centre. The back garden grass was very long but appreciate it has been warm and wet recently. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

A wall mirror in the bedroom would be helpful.

Good house in very good location for local facilities.

Property was clean and reasonably well equipped just a few small tweaks, install larger fridge freezer, supply steak knives and have clear instructions about when bins need to go out as they were all full. Overall would recommend this property

Lindean is a lovely cottage set within the town of Ballater.

Has close proximities to lovely walks around the town, and is a beautiful area to chill and recoup mental and physical health. Plenty of eateries and shops to explore also.

It is clear that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into the renovation and furnishing of Lindean.

The owner must have really enjoyed choosing the furnishings. The kitchen was amply supplied with equipment for self catering.

We had a fantastic trip to Ballater and Lindean was the perfect base for our trip.

The house is beautifully presented and very comfortable. We had everything we needed during our trip. We particularly enjoyed the log burner in the lounge that made the place cosy in the snowy evenings. It was the perfect location for a short walks to the village and its amenities and local walks. We would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area. We will certainly be back.

Lindean is an incredible place for a holiday, it is even better than its listing, very spacious and the owners have great attention to detail to ensure the stay was pure luxury.

We could not have asked for more comfort coming back from a day skiing or mountaineering. We can't wait to stay again.

Lindean is an extremely comfortable and well maintained property in a great location with easy walks to shops, bars, restaurants and many stunning walks.

Probably the best and comfortable house we have stayed in, would strongly recommend.

Love the colourful decor! Such a gorgeous cottage with everything you could need for a much needed break. We were lucky enough to get snow so the log burner was a must for a warm cosy night in. I have mobility issues and the cottage was just perfect! One back door step, and en-suite Bedroom on ground floor, so everything easily accessible. Just a short walk from the main shops/pubs so perfect if you don’t want to drive around. We ate in the Balmoral Bar which was a lovely welcoming dog friendly pub serving excellent food & friendly staff. There’s a large Co-op for all your day to day messages and next door is The Bread Guys Bakery which serves the tastiest breakfast/lunch rolls freshly made, and a huge array of yummy cakes to choose from. We had a take away from the Lochnagar Indian Brasserie which again was very tasty. Places to visit are Aboyne which has lovely wee craft/coffee shops and also Raemoir Garden Centre which was a Christmas Wonderland. Will definitely come back to Lindean as so much to still explore.
