Apple Tree Cottage is a semi-detached house situated in the coastal town of Cullen, on the Moray coast.

This spacious retreat is perfect for families or friends and their four-legged friends, accommodating up to nine guests with the added convenience of off-road parking for one car and ample roadside parking also available.

Step inside to discover two ground-floor double bedrooms, one with en-suite and TV, ideal for those with limited mobility.

The first floor hosts two more bedrooms, including a double and a triple room with three full-sized single beds, which could be adapted to make a double bed and single, ensuring ample sleeping arrangements for all.

The ground-floor shower room and first-floor family bathroom provide plenty of space for everyone to freshen up.

The utility shower has a low profile for entry and handles – helpful for those with mobility concerns.

The heart of the home is the open-plan living area, where you can gather with loved ones.

The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table.

After dinner, retire to the sitting area, where you can relax and unwind in front of the TV.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a lawn and patio with garden furniture, perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

After some treasured family time spent at the beach, hang up your wetsuits and rinse off the stubborn sand in the outdoor hot/cold shower.

Cullen is a charming coastal town with a range of amenities, including quirky shops, antique emporiums, pubs, restaurants, cafes including The Yellow Deli, Rockpool and The New Denver and take aways as well as a fantastic family-friendly beach, all within walking distance of the cottage.

Explore the local area, starting with the beautiful Cullen harbour, where you can watch the boats come in and enjoy a stroll along the waterfront.

Stroll down Main Street, where you will find interesting gift shops, antiques and curiosity outlets, ice cream, fish and chips, a cafe, and a hotel with a restaurant, etc. Great dining can be had at The Seafield Arms, The Royal Oak and The Cullen Bay Hotel.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, the Moray Coastal Trail offers stunning views and a chance to spot local wildlife.

Enjoy the local links golf course, stroll on the beach, then relax in the Sauna At The Kings barrel sauna; and enjoy a snack at the beachfront outlets.

The Moray Coastal Trail runs for 72km including along Cullen’s coast – along the Viaduct (the old railway line) along to Portknockie and Findochty and beyond.

A short drive away, you will find the historic town of Elgin, home to the impressive Elgin Cathedral and the fascinating Elgin Museum.

For a fun family day out, head to the seaside town of Lossiemouth, where you can visit the East Beach, known for its golden sands and excellent surfing conditions.
