Our second stay at Eider Cottage.

Lovely as before.

This was our second stay at Eider Cottage and it was just as lovely as we remembered it.

Despite the severe weather we had, it was always warm and cosy and Louise made sure we were comfortable. We couldn't ask for a better place to be snowed in, just loved it. We will be back again soon.

Lovely cottage, well presented and comfortable.

Just right for a week by the sea.

Lovely wee cottage and we had a nice break in Sept 2025.

Two reasonable sized bedrooms and nice sized bathroom with a good shower. Plenty of cupboard space and the kitchen was clean and useable. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely looking seaside cottage.

Fresh and clean no clutter decor very appealing not to mention practical. Kitchen well equipped and in great condition. Lovely shower. Bags of storage space and bedrooms very light and spacious. Only slight negative would be lack of glass recycling bin and the plastics bin was overflowing. However, a neighbour allowed us use of their bins. We had a super stay at Eider Cottage and Cullen. Access to the beach was literally two minutes away!

Lovely, clean and comfortable cottage, great location and wonderful shower

Eider Cottage is a great location for a stay in the beautiful town of Cullen.

It is a short stroll away from the beach, shops and eating places. Inside, it has everything you need for a self catering break and the comfortable beds ensure a great night's sleep. Louise gave us a lovely welcome and was nearby if we needed any help. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely house.

Wonderfully situated cottage in the middle of Seatown, just a stride away from a marvelous beach, harbour, hotel with bar, great food and friendly staff.

The cottage was very clean, lovely modern fixtures and fittings, it has all the basics you would expect to make your stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable with good quality bedding to afford a perfect nights sleep with only the sound of the sea to be heard. Owner of the property is very approachable if you have any questions or need help with anything during your stay. Loved this place and cottage, hope to return.

Eider Cottage was comfortable, clean, well equipped and a great place for us to stay on our first visit to Cullen.

Seatown has a lovely atmosphere and we felt very relaxed there. Proximity to the amazing beach, amenities and many varied walks could not be better, we loved it! After visiting other villages along the coast we were more than happy to spend most of the week in and around Cullen. Would love to return.

Once again another comfortable stay at this property, ideally located a few yards from sea, property is clean, tidy, lovely shower, kitchen and bedrooms, will book again.

It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is very close to the beach and all amenities that Cullen has to offer. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Very clean and just love the cotton bed sheets and white towels. Everything you need for a happy, peaceful stay in Cullen.

Eider Cottage is a beautiful little cottage in a wonderful location.

The property was very well maintained and clean with thoughtful touches such as chairs and blanket for the beach. The beds were super comfy. Host, Louise, was a great host, making initial contact, and we knew she was there if we needed her. We had a really lovely, relaxing stay.

Lovely wee cottage, comfortable and stylishly decorated.

Appreciate that limited kitchen space but washing machine would have been a bonus. Very close to beach, great golf course and fantastic coastal walks affording lovely views. Sampled great meals at nearby hotel and fantastic fish and chips, Chinese takeaway. What more could you ask for?

Nothing to the holiday owner just that your listing could have said that tea towels and dishwasher tablets etc were provided.

Just to avoid people packing them and not using them.

Cullen is a little slice of heaven and Eider cottage is the perfect spot for a truly magical holiday.

The cottage was beautiful and everything you could need was provided. Really comfy beds and really well thought out decor. We will definitely be returning. A minutes walk to the beach which was stunning. Also a lovely pub which does great food a minutes walk away.

We had a lovely stay at Eider Cottage.

The host was very helpful and friendly checking that we had everything we needed. The cottage itself is in the perfect location next to the beach. It was very clean and tidy with modern decor throughout and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The location is perfect for beach days and walks, lots of nice places for food and good opportunities for water sports nearby. We would highly recommended!

We are return customers and I think that says it all.

The property is excellent for both enjoying beach life in Cullen and a perfect base for exploring the Moray coast.

Bed linen was excellent as was the beds themselves. Cosy kitchen/living area and would happily recommend Eider Cottage to anyone wanting a lovely, cosy and clean cottage for their holidays.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eider Cottage.

Very clean, modern, warm & comfortable. We both got great sleeps in the extremely comfy beds. The only negative would be that there was no washing machine but that didn’t bother us too much. Also for my 84 year old mother the cottage could’ve done with a grab handle at the front door due to the step and also in the shower as she didn’t feel safe in there. But overall they’re minor issues that didn’t prevent our enjoyment. I’d defo happily stay here again.

Eider cottage is a fantastic holiday house, beautifully decorated, perfect bathroom/kitchen and overall exceptionally clean.

It's really lovely, warm and cosy, a perfect base to explore the area. Cullen itself has beautiful walks and the town has many great cafes and delivery food options. Highly recommend Eider Cottage.

Gorgeous cosy cottage.

A real home from home, well equipped and really clean and tidy. Louise has an excellent eye for detail and lovely taste. Cullen and the Moray coastline are beautiful. The people are welcoming and friendly. Eider Cottage is an excellent base for exploring and relaxing on your return. Just perfection

Close to town and beach, would stay here again and highly recommend.

We have visited Moray many times but this has definitely been out best stay yet.

Eider Cottage is immaculately presented whilst being cosy and comfortable. It is deceptively spacious. It is in a peaceful location but close to all amenities, ideal for exploring both Moray and Aberdeenshire coast. Louise, the host, is so helpful. For anyone wanting to visit the area we highly recommend staying at Eider Cottage

Excellent is a word that best describes this property and owner in so many ways.

Excellent communication from the owner. Went out of her way to make sure everything went well during my stay. Excellent accommodation. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and provided a great warm and contented feeing. Excellent location. The cottage is right in the heart of a quaint part of Cullen. Everything is within walking distance. Beautiful scenery, interesting walks and just so much history right on the doorstep. Overall I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's one place I will certainly return to.

We had a great time in this cosy cottage minutes from Cullen beach.

Loved the new bathroom. It was perfectly set up for a relaxing holiday with parking right outside the door. There’s lots to do in the area and it’s a great place for walking the dog.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable.

The owner apologised that there was a small maintenance issue that had not been dealt with yet in the bathroom but this was not an issue for us. She had very kindly left scones, croissants, wine, jam, butter and crisps. A lovely welcome touch which we enjoyed, apart from the wine as we don't drink alcohol. Thank you for a lovely holiday in an excellent location. Couldn't have been better.

The property has everything you need for a good holiday and is in the perfect location ( literally two minutes from the beach).

The property owner is very helpful and was there if you needed her. Cullen is a lovely location with loads of great walks on your doorstep. We would highly recommend the cottage.

Clean and tidy. Lots of storage space. Great location. Owners communication excellent pre and during stay. Lots of lovely walks in area and very near to beautiful Cullen beach. We would certainly return to this property. Also must mention the local people who were invariably friendly and happy to offer any advice required. eg places to eat etc. Leaflets were available within the property.

The house is lovely & very comfortable.

Couldn't fault it, had everything we required. The setting near the waterfront is amazing. It's in close proximity to all the local facilities & is convenient for touring around.

We loved this house. The place is spotless & very comfortable. We had such an enjoyable & relaxed stay. Location is great, so much around us in Cullen or short drives. Couldn't recommend Eider Cottage enough & will 100% book again soon. Host Louise is lovely, communication was excellent & she was very thoughtful with advice & information.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable. Decor was lovely and was great being so close to the beach. A minor thing was not having a washing machine but that certainly wouldn't put us off staying again.

We had the best family holiday booking both cottages gave us enough room for all of our family.

They are both stunning inside with everything you need to have the best holiday. Our host was amazing too the communication and advice about the area was lovey.. Such a beautiful area to explore and discover with our kids and dog. Thanks again

Fabulous cottage everything you need for a great holiday beds so comfy lovely fresh smell from towels was so nice.

Louise the owner was amazing keeping in touch to make sure we had all we needed never had that before and how nice it was thank you very much Louise we will return in the future. Cullen is a beautiful place for a relaxed holiday as it’s so peaceful beach is 1 min walk from property and it’s so beautiful.

We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived at the property as it looked and smelt clean and fresh with current decor which was well thought out in every room.

The shower was excellent. All kitchen appliances worked and cupboards well stocked with crockery ect.

Our boys loved the sea and was in there everyday please buy wetsuits before going as we had to go to the next town to purchase some x The beds are so comfy I have never slept so good x Thanks for a very relaxing stay just what we needed

Eider cottage .

Seatown in Cullen. Close to a beautiful beach and harbour. The cottage was fabulous, quaint from the outside, modern inside, very clean , comfy beds, lovely decor, could tell lots of thought and care had been put into the way it looked. We met the owner Louise and her family , she was very friendly and helped us with places to visit and eat in the Town and area. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Louise owns the cottage next door , which is larger, we were lucky to have a look inside , just WOW. It was fabulous too.

Had a great week relaxing in a beautiful clean and fresh cottage Louise was a great host and very helpful.

Would defo recommend this cottage as a base for touring the local area

When we arrived after a five hour drive we were astonished to find the cupboards were bare!

There was half a toilet roll and apart from a welcome pack of crisps wine and some biscuits the cupboards were bare.There was one dishtowel and no cleaning products .The first thing we had to do was find a shop!There was nothing about Cullen or what to do.No information whatsoever,no books ,games etc.First time we have encountered this.We paid £660 for this week as it was a Bank Holiday,(my mistake) although most of the cottages were empty.We were very disappointed as we had to go shopping straight away.We did have a good holiday but disappointed at empty cupboards.

The cottage was lovely.

Clean, comfortable, lovely beds and fabulous shower. Louise , the owner, very friendly, and gave us a super welcome basket .We couldn’t really fault it, though a microwave would be very handy, easier to clean than an oven .Other than that, a perfect place to stay. 5 stars from us . Cullen beach is amazing .

Great location near the beach in Cullen. Lovely place to stay with everything you need. Louise was very friendly and all arrangements were easy. We will definitely recommend the cottage and hopefully be back soon.
