  • "The caravan was comfy and clean."

The only thing that I feel it could have done with is a few more kitchen essentials such as trays for the oven. The area was quiet and peaceful. I’d recommend a stay here.

  • "The caravan smelled damp when we first arrived."

There was black mould on several of the net curtains. The window between dining area & lounge had fingerprints. The main light fitting in lounge had lots of cobwebs. The remote for the fire was broken, had to sellotape it to work. Items missing colander, grater, cutlery tray, bread knife, tin opener, pizza cutter, pint glasses, SMOKE ALARMS. The cutlery was very cheap. The bedding was also very cheap, but was clean. The site is very basic, and quiet, which was exactly what we wanted. The roads were flooded most of the time.

  • "He caravan is on a very quiet park, which we liked."

The caravan itself is quite basic and the description on the website is inaccurate. The first major issue is that the listing says one double room and one twin room - however they both have double beds, which my teenage children were not happy about. Other inaccuracies are that the living room, dining area and kitchen are NOT open plan. The oven is gas, not electric. The general cleanliness was ok, though it could do with vacuuming properly. There is a distinct lack of cooking utensils, and we had go out and buy some baking trays to use in the oven. There also aren’t enough drinking glasses. Moving to the bedrooms, the beds are pretty comfortable, but the pillows are awful. We managed to find two spare ones to bulk up for two of us, the other two of us had to make do with seriously flat pillows. Overall, it was a well located base for us, within easy reach of lots of attractions, but it is lacking on the presentation side of things.
