"This was our first visit to Suffolk and our choice of cottage did not disappoint."
Kitchen very well equipped which is important as we usually self cater rather than eating out. Bathroom facilities excellent. Bed comfortable. Cleaners came at the end of the first week and changed bed / bath linen. Would recommend this lovely cottage.

"Overall cottage very comfortable."
Kitchen very well equipped, which was a very nice touch.
Welcome pack was great. The towels and bedding both of very good quality.
Parking not a problem. Parked up outside the cottage without a problem.

"This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and also really secluded but close to everything we love about our stays in Aldeburgh- the beach, the shops, the White Hart Inn and the fish and chip shop!"
The bathroom was a particular treat- what an amazing shower. We had a lovely week here, thank you, we will be returning for sure!
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, such lovely feedback.
We look forward to your return .

"This was our second stay in Mariners Cottage."
We had liked it last year and thought we’d come back in the hope the bathroom, which was the only disappointment last year, would have improved. As last year, the whole house was very pleasant, except for the somewhat neglected feel of the bathroom. Towels & bedding are of a high standard, cleanliness throughout was good (except for the bathroom floor) and the kitchen equipment adequate for a holiday stay. Aldeburgh is a pleasant town with a lovely beach and plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area.
We are always taking our guests suggestions in a positive way. This winter we have refurbished the bathroom and added extra coat hooks .
The Wifi code is located on the back of the router and is also in our Best of Suffolk folder.
The modern kitchen is equipped a Combi-oven , microwave and traditional electric oven
with grill.
The boiler has been checked by Wooster Bosch and the issues have been resolved .
As a regular visitor we hope will enjoy the changes during your next stay in May .

"This cottage is wonderful."
Great location, lovely outside space and comfortable. We have stayed here 3 times now and love it.
Small points - needs more coat hooks downstairs. There’s nowhere to put anything except one hook on the front door. Not enough when you’re a family of 4! Also could do with a microwave perhaps?
Hello
Thank you for your suggestions , we are always happy to add extra features for our guests.
The oven is a built-in compact oven with a micro wave function. This may not be apparent to all guests ,so we will make this information clearer in our booklet.
We hope you will revisit Mariners next year.

"We loved the cottage!"
It is cosy and intimate, we liked the decor and the underfloor heating. Kitchen is small but provided everything we needed. The bed & bedding are very comfortable and clean. We did eat out a lot and there’s plenty of choice of good restaurants, pubs and a excellent bakery.
The ONLY slight drawback (if you could call that!) was the bathroom. Compared to the rest of the house it felt a bit neglected or forgotten. The bath towels were clean & of excellent standard, BUT the grouting between the floor tiles could do with a deep clean.
We certainly would book Mariners Cottage again!

"Cottage in a great central location and very well equipped."
Comfy sofas and beds (though slight stale bedroom odour in Master on arrival was something not encountered in previous holiday cottages and was somewhat off putting). Lovely painted decoration of all rooms, especially the lipstick pink toilet! Garden also a bonus, unless you want to sit out when the chip shops fire up.

"A beautiful home in a beautiful area that is perfect for exploring Aldeburgh."
Literally thirty seconds' walk from both the water and the high street and with all the mod cons that you'd need in a home from home. Plenty of crockery, great kitchen equipment (even including a coffee pot and Velvetiser for post-walk hot chocolate!), comfortable beds and a lovely atmosphere. The only thing I'd flag is it's an old cottage - so if you're especially tall you might have to duck in a few places. We absolutely loved our stay though and are looking forward to returning.

"Overall a great first experience in Aldeburgh thanks to the lovely cottage which is well appointed with quality furnishings."
The location is superb.
Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts.
Only a couple of observations which were of no concern to us but might be to other guests:
No microwave.
The television only worked via catch up (BBC had subtitles!)
Will definitely return.
