  • "Very enjoyable last minute break for us & our small dog."

Accomodation was very good and clean and well equipped with good quality linen & utensils. Location was ideal for walking into Southwold & we even walked to Walberswick. The only negative aspect of our stay was was when the main house was occupied you could hear their washing machine spinning very loud from behind the adjoining door which was going for some hours on one day & woke us up very early one morning. The annex is on an unmade road and the off road parking mentioned in the details we would not really consider to be off road. It is a strip of grass directly in front of the gate. Shame as there is a garage with a parking space attached to the annex. The road is mainly quiet, however there was building work opposite which meant the road was very narrow when the builder's van was there & our car was on the grass outside. Items that would be of benefit is a washing up bowl, a mat inside the front door to stop walking in mud when it's wet, a colander for straining pasta etc a cheese grater and a broom or hoover. Despite these issues we had a great break.

  • "Warm, cosy, clean modern accommodation."

Ideal for the two of us and great to be able to park the car directly outside the property. Perfect location for access to Southwold, the marshes and Walberswick.

  • "I enjoyed my stay with my dog Bella - the location was ideal for lots of good local walks in and around Southwold and Walberswick."

The annex was clean on arrival but did notice the bathroom fan very very dusty and the bedroom carpet had a lot of blonde hair on it - both myself and Bella have black hair so not ours. It would have been good if there could have been a broom and mop in the property as well as a hoover - especially as there is plenty of room for them in the understair cupboard or hot water cylinder cupboard. Also a cheese grater would have been good to have. All in all I had a very comfortable stay - perfect size for just the Bella and I.

Thanks for your feedback - most helpful .i shall purchase what you suggest , sorry about the carpet , will let the cleaners know . Many thanks for your custom . Paul Property Owner
