  • "A beautiful place to stay with every facility that you could need on a short break."

Very quiet and peaceful. You do need a car to explore the area as some of the roads are not walker friendly in my view. The number of stairs was a problem for us and I should have checked this before booking. It was a nightmare getting the luggage up two steep flights and then back down again after our weeks break. However we enjoyed ourselves anyway.

  • "Saffron, Blyth View, is the perfect location for exploring northern Suffolk; lovely local villages and small towns with excellent shops, restaurants & cafes, beaches and (for us, really important) amazing churches & venues to enjoy."

The flat is very spacious and comfortable, and well equipped for a short, relaxing stay. It's wonderfully quiet and restful. Our week was slightly marred by the TV system not working (with thoughtful if ultimately ineffectual help online) - we managed with mini I-pads and CDs (there wasn't a player listed so we had brought our own, with some CDs, being ancient techies) and lots of books - which was very good.

  • "A beautiful stay for my daughters and I - Saffron was so comfortable with all of the home comfort needed for a wonderful break away."

The location was quiet and yet we had easy access to lots of activities in the local area, stunning walks and the coast. The facilities available were a massive hit for us, especially the ease with which we could book a pool slot which we used everyday! We would love to come back!

Thanks so much for your positive feedback on your stay at Saffron in Blythburgh. I was delighted to read your 8-year old daughter Aiyla's heartwarming comments in the guest book. I sincerely hope you will be able to come back another time. Best wishes Property Owner

  • "Lovely accommodation In beautiful setting."

.I think there should be a mat outside door to wipe feet on before stepping in even though there is one inside helps protect lovely carpet.Fridge/ Freezer needs adjusting, when opening fridge the freezer door opens noticed that the freezer draws were solid with ice, dosnt close properly difficult to open.Soap dispensers need to be refilled, were half empty. Will definitely return.Thank you.

Dear Pamela, I am delighted you had a good stay and plan to return. I have a handyman going to adjust the freezer door issue. Regarding the door mat: I have considered this in the past but as a Grade II listed property we are not allowed anything permanent and I have yet to find a suitable mat that serves the purpose and is still pleasing to the eye! I had already purchased new soap dispensers, but have not had a chance to get down to Saffron in past weeks. That said, housekeeping should have put out small soaps for each basin. I apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you back to Saffron in the future. Paul Property Owner

Kitchen has everything we need. Only downside is extra flight stairs isn’t convenient with two young kids.
