  • "Beautiful property and we had little time there as only staying for a Wedding in the next village."

    Fantastically renovated and comfortable

  • "A Memorable Stay at a Charming Cottage A beautiful well-maintained, and well-equipped cottage."

We wanted for nothing when we arrived and it has to be one of, if not THE best, cottages we've ever stayed at on a UK break. We knew prior to booking that the cottage is situated on a main road, but the road noise did not affect our stay. As we were out virtually all day every day, we may have missed any commuting traffic. In the mornings prior to us heading out, and in the evenings upon our return, road noise was not at all disruptive. The garden area is an absolute delight to sit in after a great day out, wining and dining al-fresco style in the evening sun while listening to the chorus of birdsong. Plenty of fields and woodland to explore on the doorstep too, perfect for walking off the evening calories before heading indoors to relax in front of the cosy wood burner. This cottage truly offers a serene retreat, blending pastoral charm with modern comfort, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We had a chance meeting with Dave, the gardener mid-week as we were heading out and Susie the owner who also dropped by more to meet Dave than us, and we all ended up having a real heart to heart chat. Sincerely and genuinely very nice people. In essence, PERFECT.

Thank you for such lovely comments, it gives me such pleasure to hear that you have enjoyed yourselves so much. Property Owner

  • "Very comfortable stay."

Lovely lay out of the cottage, which was completely refurbished by owners. I really enjoyed layout and brightness of the kitchen Forest walks and places to visit nearby. We took a trip to Peter Beale's roses, although too early for blooms had some great roses, and gardens. Highly recommended.

  • "A lovely cosy cottage with a well equipped modern kitchen."

The lounge has a log burner that adds to the cosy feel and comfortable seating. Bedrooms and bathrooms also clean and warm. It is useful having the washing machine and dryer in the utility as is the additional shower room / toilet downstairs. Altogether a well thought out and maintained holiday cottage.

  • "West View is in a great location for getting around Norfolk easily to see all the places of interest Norfolk has to offer."

The cottage is a well thought out refurbishment and has all you need for a really comfortable home from home stay. A cosy and comfortable place to return to after a day out. The quality of the fittings, furnishings and utensils is excellent with attention to detail. The cottage is spacious, with plenty of room both inside the cottage and outside in the garden, which is fully enclosed. The only thing I would say to be aware of, is that the road by the cottage can be a little busier than expected, as it's one of the main roads into Feltwell. Having said that, we didn't find any noise from passing traffic to be intusive or have a negative impact on our enjoyment of the time we spent there. I hope to be able to return for another stay in the near future.

  • "A lovely property which was most comfortable."

The owner told me that they are new to the rental market. As a tip it would be helpful if on arrival a carton of fresh milk were provided. Car parking is on grass at the side of the property which shares a gated access to a farm. If you have a van sized vehicle it would block access and you would need to park on the road outside. The owner did offer me the use of his garage but unfortunately this was too narrow for my car. We did however have a very pleasant couple of nights and thank David for his hospitality and wish them good luck with their future lettings.
