  • "Wow! What an amazing place to stay."

Everything we needed and the most interesting, fun stay we have ever had. Everything we needed, but so much more to explore! The artwork produced by the owner is wonderful, and so intriguing. Bright, happy decor, lovely big towels, lp's to play, just brilliant. Sarah gave friendly communication from time of booking, and when we had a power cut in the village just after we arrived, she appeared to help any way she could! Fantastic! We loved this stay so much, thoroughly recommend!

  • "Hands down the best place we've ever stayed."

A full immersive art experience like no other. The insect circus museum had the kids enthralled from the moment we arrived until dragging them away at the end. The amazing dressing up box, record player, drawing desk and games made it the best family time we've had for a long time. Host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and excellent communication kept throughout. Couldn't recommend it enough. Honoured to have visited!

  • "We loved our stay!"

Aside from the totally unique, eccentric and fascinating ( and generously shared) artefacts, paintings and posters, it’s a comfy, spacious and well equipped house. Everything we needed including secure space for our bikes. Thank you so much - highly recommended!

  • "We stayed with our 6yo, 3yo, our baby and dog for one night, booked at last minute."

The art and house decoration is absolutely incredible. It was a huge privilege to spend time with all the amazing paintings and other artworks which are both beautiful and extremely funny. The decoration of the house itself is also a masterpiece and I've not even mentioned the bug circus yet! It was probably worth the money just to have the bug circus to ourselves. Both children were totally captivated by it. They were also fascinated by the paintings and the wonderful pieces in the toilet. We'll be talking about it long into the future.

  • "The best most unique place we have stayed, loved the artwork the stories behind the pictures."

We also loved the colourful decoration and use of recycled furniture. The museum was fantastic and informative with the weirdest stories and the quality of the exhibits was incredible. We would recommend it to anyone who is interested in art and the process of research and dedication it takes to put together such an exhibition space that is warm and welcoming and fun to stay in
