  • "The kitchen in particular was grubby, the floor was dirty, the peddle bin had rusted apart, the fridge was dirty, the draining rack was dirty."

    The showers were small, the drain in the upstairs shower smelled. The garden was untidy. We were there nearly 2 weeks but there was no offer to come clean/change the bedding whilst we were there. There was no dryer, just a very small washing line. Also, there was no proper oven, just some small counter top thing & an imitation aga that took 30 minutes to heat up. I could go on, but ultimately this was one of the most expensive places I’ve rented (including from you) and by some distance the most disappointing.

  • "Skelder was a lovely house set in a beautiful , peaceful location ."

    An enclosed garden with lots of games to play. Very safe for children and the dog . The bikes were a useful option too . The pool was a real bonus and we had a lot of fun it.

  • "Very comfortable and cosy."

    There were lots of extras included. All of good quality. The downstairs south room included an interesting library.. Movable oil filled radiators were an excellent addition for use during cold weather. Two small items of housekeeping should be attended to. 1. The dead-lock on the main door needs re-aligning so that it can be locked from he outside. 2. The plug on one upstairs wash basin needs changing for one with a chain. The present one cannot be removed once inserted

  • "The house was lovely."

    Very warm and inviting. Very thoughtful to put up a Christmas tree. Very quiet area within a few minutes from the nearest small town. Only issue was the upstairs shower drain. Had a wonderful stay, thankyou!

    It’s a real home from home, so comfortable and warm and with everything that you need for a relaxed holiday. The layout of the cottage worked perfectly for us, we all had enough privacy with cosy areas and loads of space in the beautiful big garden for the grandchildren.

    The house was wonderful , it took us a while to get used to the oven , but got there in the end :) Just a little bit of feedback , the back door lock is very stiff it was a struggle to get it locked each time . Otherwise all was perfect thank you .

Park off road and be welcomed into this beautiful detached cottage, enjoying the views as you unpack with ease before making yourself at home in the sitting room, where a selection of sofas allows you to relax with a cup of tea beside a traditional fireplace housing an inglenook woodburning stove, and there is a second sitting room resting alongside the dining room, with a selection of book cases and double doors opening up to the fresh countryside air.

When mealtimes call, the kitchen/diner offers ample amenities and a traditional feel to the décor, and you can enjoy a family meal at the dining table.

Four bedrooms can be found within this stunning property, each homely and with storage, including a king-size with a Juliette balcony, a double with built-in wardrobes with sliding mirrored doors, a ground-floor double day bed with French doors opening up onto the garden and a ground-floor single day bed, as well as a ground-floor shower room for your refreshment.

The beautiful market town of Framlingham is mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086) and has been known since Anglo Saxon times, when it consisted of several manors which William the Conqueror (1066-1087) presented to Roger Bigod. The town is of particular interest as it has a large castle and mere which was built between 1190 and 1210. The town is surrounded by lovely villages to explore and has two of the oldest working post boxes and one of Britain’s smallest houses, with the footprint measuring 6.1x2.2m! Today, the town offers a number of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and it is also home to Framlingham Summer Arts Festival.
