  • "A beautiful cottage, lovely surroundings and countryside."

The owners were so welcoming and were available on site if any problems occurred. A gorgeous welcome hamper on arrival, it was late in the evening due to traffic holdups when we arrived, Anthony immediately on hand to help us with luggage, cottage was lovely and warm and cosy, never needed to light the fire even though logs were provided, also must say, the most comfortable double bed I’ve ever slept in with beautiful luxurious bedding, can’t say enough, a lovely comfortable cottage.

  • "Wonderful cottage, grounds and hosts!"

The accommodation was just what we wanted and we were not left wanting for anything, the place is very well appointed, comfortable for 4 (plus a dog) and in a lovely rural but well connected location, with walks from the door. It is a wildlife haven (we saw a barn owl, tawny owl and bats to name a few highlights) and the owners commitment to nature really resonated with us. They have planted 1500+ trees, creating a wonderful fenced off woodland that is great for 4 legged friends and use lovely eco friendly products throughout the property.

Extremely well presented and exactly as listed. We only wish we could've spent more time there to relax and unwind. We will be back.

  • "Thank you to the host of the property for being so accommodating and helpful."

The welcome gift was very much appreciated. The location is idyllic and was so lovely to be allowed to visit the farm's animals. The cottage lived up to expectations and had all the facilities you would expect and more. The guest book was also very welcome as it had all the information you would want to have for a holiday trip. It was very extensive and useful. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it for a peaceful trip amongst lovely wildlife and everything around being in easy access. Thank you.

  • "A nice place to stay for a holiday break."

The owner very friendly and helpful. All very positive for comments apart from two matters....... 1) Front door doesn`t lock correctly. 2) From 1st floor to ground floor there is no lighting. Transferring via the stair during the night is "risky" (many of us have too!!) This is quite a potentially serious H&S situation.

The front door can sometimes be a little stiff to lock. A quirk of a 16th Century Barn. However there is an additional slide bolt that can be used on the inside for added security. There is a light above the dressing table which illuminates the stairs. Property Owner

  • "We were absolutely delighted with the cottage which was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious and yet had great charm with wonderful exposed beams."

It made an excellent base for touring the many attractions of this part of Suffolk, but we were also pleased to discover that it was surrounded by countryside rich in wildlife. The owners are very considerate (we much appreciated the welcome pack) and their eco-friendly approach struck a sympathetic note with us.
