  • "Very relaxing week at 6 Willows Green."

    The house was well equipped and well presented with a great location for beach access and walks into Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. The upstairs living room makes the most of the views over the marshes and the sea. It was great to be able to leave the car behind and explore on foot and the garage space was an unexpected bonus as it could accommodate our Ford Ranger very comfortably. Biscuits, milk & bottle of lemonade on arrival was much appreciated, as was the call earlier in the week to check the bed layout.

  • "The cottage was delightful and the location is excellent."

    General cleanliness was very good. However, we suggest that the cleaners are asked to do a more detailed job on the shower heads, the extractor fan and the oven. The kitchen is well equipped, but a pair of salad servers and/or a pair of tongs would have been useful. A 2nd key would also be helpful.

    Great location to walk to/from Aldeburgh Very quiet location and no issue with parking. Left a note with some basic maintenance (replace light bulbs, kitchen fan/extractor, etc)

  • "We had a wonderful stay at 6 Willows Green."

    Only a short walk from the centre of Aldeburgh, the location was perfect for us. The house was very well appointed and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

  • "We liked 6 Willows Green."

    We had a few issues: 1)No WiFi for 24 hours because the wifi password wouldn’t work. Not good when you want to search out tourist info etc. Rang the cleaner who came to see us and couldn’t get it working either. Googled Vodaphone when out the next day and followed their instructions which eventually worked. Owner provided a different password to the instructions 48 hours later but too late. 2) grill pan and roasting tins had to be washed before use. A couple of suggestions: 1) 2 Keys for the property would be useful. I was effectively locked out whilst my husband went to Saxmundham. 2) Coat hooks in the porch or a coat stand in the downstairs living room would be useful, especially in wet weather. This is a lovely house right on the edge of Aldeburgh and we enjoyed the walk along the beach into Aldeburgh for dinner each evening. We would definitely stay again.

  • "A lovely, comfortable house in a great location, close to the beach and town."

    Great showers, good dishwasher, microwave and kitchen utensils. Lovely welcome pack, with bottles of wine and biscuits, we would definitely stay again. A few little niggles that would make the house even better, would be a few more coat hangers in the wardrobes, a bedside table and lamp on both sides of the bed in the top bedroom, a lamp in the downstairs living room and a new or fixed chest of drawers in the twin bedroom - but these are really minor details.

  • "The property is in good condition and the facilities are excellent."

    We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the whole property. The location is ideal for the beach and eating out and shopping in Aldeburgh. The garage is a big plus. The kitchen sink hot tap needs some maintenance attention, and further advice on how to turn the heating off would be helpful. A most enjoyable visit to Aldeburgh, thank you.

  • "We absolutely love this property due to its style, comfort and peacefulness."

    Even though it is within easy walking distance to the town centre you can escape the holiday madness and day visitors should you wish to do so. The views from the upper floors across to Thorpeness and Sizewell, incorporating the beach are very special and Murphy (our 4-year old Pug) loved the many different walks, especially those to the 2-Magpies Cafe where he was always met with a special doggy treat. We will be back again and again .............

Park off-road and unpack with ease, making your way into the kitchen/diner, where tasteful wooden furniture and ample amenities entice any budding chef to cook up a storm, which can be served in the dining area or there is access to a fantastic rear courtyard where dining alfresco is a must.

Ascend to the first floor and settle down with a coffee in the sitting area, enjoying a book and views of the nearby beach and Maggi Hambling scallop shell sculpture.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
