  • "We had a great time and the house was lovely."

    The basement however, did smell of damp! And the bedding felt a little damp too. It was a little dusty in places light fittings et cetera although it didn’t diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Location was fantastic which I think made the holiday for us. We would certainly check out other premises that you offer in the future.

    Location was perfect and the house was spotless with everything we needed. It was so lovely to wake up and hear the waves! Our only gripe would be that there was a bit of a smell in the basement but the kids didn’t seem to mind.

    Perfect location. Property has been done up to a high standard and was such a lovely base for us for our weekend away. Beds were comfy. Only downside is having one shower for 8 adults! But would still highly recommend for a few days and would definitely return.

    The décor is well considered, the house is well stocked with quality everything and the location is perfect! Recommend loaded and jacks for simple eating out, Adventure golf (by the boaking lake/pier) and lots of time on the beach.

    The property was beautiful and decorated to a very high standard. The beds were comfortable and well positioned. I found the den slightly dark and very cold at night. The heating down there didn’t seem to work. Everything else was brilliant and the views were fantastic and so relaxing. Thank you.

SOUTHWOLD

Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
