Everything about it was 2nd to none. Very Clean and Roomy the design of the property has been carried out to a very high standard. There was plenty of parking and a large garden for our dog Winnie ( winniethepooch2021 ) to run around. The Hot Tub made it that extra special place after we had been out for the day. We definitely will look to return here next year.

The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the hot tub was fab! Cottage well equipped and clean. We did have a problem with the TV, which we reported to owner and they looked at the next day. Unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed so they ordered a new one but this didn’t arrive whilst we were there, hopefully it will be in time for the next customers. We were left a lovely welcome pack which was gratefully received! The location was beautiful and perfectly situated for travelling around Norfolk and Suffolk. Would recommend Horsey Windpump, Ross’ Wildlife Boat Trip, Sandringham Estate, Sutton Hoo, all of the National Trust Houses, and for a lovely meal go to the Gamekeepers in Old Buckenham. Thank you to Colin and Mary for a lovely stay!

Everything was maintained to the highest standard and the place was exceptionally well equipped. We had everything we needed for the kitchen with good quality cooking equipment, crockery , cutlery and glassware. The outdoor fridge in the shed, in addition to the one in the house, was very welcome and we appreciated the nice touch of the bag of ice. The garden was lovely and spacious , the hot tub great and there was an outdoor table and chairs, parasol and seat pads. Nothing was wanting. Plenty of car parking space too. There was a welcome pack when we arrived which was much appreciated. All rooms were En suite which suited our party down to the ground. The barn was well equipped with everything that we needed. Plenty of books, puzzles, games to keep you occupied, plenty of power points in all rooms for chargers etc. The garden is very spacious and well kept, spent plenty of time out enjoying the sun. Loved the hot tub. Fantastic way to end the day, perfect chill down. When we did have an issue with our heating, the owner Colin was on it and got it sorted within an hour. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back ourselves at some point (will remember to put the bin out next time)

Thanks for the great comments Ian. It is a lovely spot to chill out - very little traffic and very quiet and secure. Did you see the barn owl? We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

Everything else has already been thought of and is already there! I specifically bought plastic flutes to have Prosecco in the hot tub, there was no need as plastic glass ware in all shapes and sizes were already there! So now my family and friends have said I have to buy my own hot tub at home to go with my plastic flutes (I’ll try!) Colin and Mary are fantastic hosts. The space they have created for us to enjoy is amazing. I would love to book again in the future and am already definitely recommending Whitehands Farm Barn to everyone I know. It is gorgeous! Only couple of minor points, we never found the drying room but used the clothes airer provided in the shed in front of the radiator in the kitchen. And we got caught out by ordering from one local take away restaurant who only accepted cash on delivery as we only had payment cards on that particular evening.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We do try to think of everything that guests need and it is nice when guests recognise the trouble we go to. We look forward to welcoming you all back. Property Owner

Lovely and quiet. Great base to explore. Not the cleanest when we arrived, had to clean the floors ourselves and chocolate wrappers found behind the sofa. No welcome pack or dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher needed rinse aid and salt, but none in cupboard. Could’ve done with a bit of TLC in places, the main bedroom ensuite shower drips (kept me awake in the night) and the dining room chairs for example were well past their best.

We are sorry you had a bad start to your holiday. We did contact you to apologise and explain that we had been away on holiday and that we had been let down by our cleaning company. We normally check the barn after the cleaners leave. A welcome pack was available but was not put out, along with dishwasher tablets. We have had a meeting with our cleaners to express our dismay and to ask for an explanation. There is a maintenance book in the property to make us aware of anything that needs looking at but there has been no mention of the dripping tap. We will have that looked at. We didn't want to leave. The photos do not do it justice. I took an 8 minute video and sent it to friends and family and everyone commented on its beauty. As a family, we ranged from age 21 to 89 years and took our 17 yr old Jack Russell with us and we all enjoyed our holiday break. The barn is home from home, clean and spacious and well layed out. We each had our own rooms and showers, and bath in the master room, which allowed us our own privacy and space when needed. The garden is huge and secure for our dog to bimble around, until his little legs tired, whereby he would collapse infront of the open french doors in his bed. The hot tub was incredibly clean and a great way to relax at the end of the day. This was a first experience for our 89 year old aunt. The owners have clearly thought of everything and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. We all would definately recommend this property and hope to return :)))

The owners have thought of everything, it's like a home away from home. I chose this because my mother in law, is a little infirm. It's all one level, so she could get about really easily. The kitchen is great and so much equipment has been thought off, even including scales which we needed for pancakes! The garden is superb, it really is completely dog friendly and no gaps so very secure, total added bonus is the hot tub which our children loved. White hands Farm Barn was spotlessly clean with three bedrooms and three bathrooms all kitted out with nice little touches like hot water bottles if it’s chilly and hairdryers, hangers in the wardrobes and plenty of storage. The cottage boosts a lovely lounge area with two comfortable sofas and a separate dining area. The kitchen is open plan which is so well equipped, I struggled with operating the hob, a quick call and Mary came to show me, without complaint. The hot tub was amazing, even with the threat of rain, it was a treat to climb in and relax. We managed to do quite a bit during our week, not all the attractions could be visited due to the current situation but it gives us a reason to return to Whitehands Farm Barn in the future. Good linen and large fluffy towels, a welcome pack with contents above and beyond, and owners who were helpful and friendly even before we arrived, but who respected our privacy. We were an odd combination..2 elderly and wobbly parents, taken for a break by their 2 elderly children (!) and a dog. We each had our own spacious bedroom, en suite, and the living area was large and level, ideal for the not-so-sprightly, and the layout was convivial and conducive to family interaction. TV with Netflix and Amazon gave plenty of entertainment scope for a wide variety of tastes and ages. The garden was huge, totally secure, able to let the (deaf) dog out quite safely as gates kept her off the lane. We found plenty to see and do in the area, there was a lot of information for us in folders, all clearly labelled into categories, eg For Children, Walks, etc.. Simply cannot fault the accommodation, it was tailor made for us, and would fit most perfectly friends or families with wide age ranges, and is suitable for people with less than perfect mobility. A great place to stay, a great location to explore lovely Norfolk.

  • "The owner was very helpful prior to our arrival via the use of his personal email , so we were able to discuss our needs and it was great to meet the owners directly during our stay ."

A well appointed and comfortable warm holiday home, needed due to the Easter heavy rain. A useful welcome folder on arrival with menus of the local takeaways that delivered - the Indian was good. Organised tourist information in a box was very useful. The welcome hamper on arrival and fresh flowers were appreciated. Sadly phone reception was not great for us in the barn but it had good WiFi connection and TV reception. All the en-suite bedrooms worked well as we were all able to be independent . The barn was appreciated by all 3 generations of our family ( 13- 82 years) and we all would return but hopefully with some sunshine.

  • "Whitehands Farm Barn was an amazing retreat for us as a family."

Recently renovated to an exceedingly high standard, we spent a brilliant week exploring Norfolk using the barn as a base. Many a cosy evening (and morning) was spent making full use of the facilities, it was great to have a bathroom each, the lounge/diner was snug and the really well equipped kitchen was used to its full. The owners were really helpful and accommodating both before we arrived and during our stay. We hope to come back again.
