  • "A lovely property, very clean."

Recommended for a family. One small criticism ....... no welcome pack on arrival meant that the grandchildren had to nip off sharpish to the local shop before it shut. In the past we have had a few essentials provided on arrival.....tea, coffee, milk, bread etc. but not on this occasion, unfortunately.

  • "Two of the towels were grubby."

As my family did not take all of the rooms we were able to take other towels from the spare room.

  • "Just returned from a super-relaxing week at Rippleway."

The house was perfect for us, the dogs loved exploring the large contained garden and we were lucky enough with the weather to be able to sit outside and enjoy it. We have booked to come back next year as we enjoyed it so much. The house was super clean, no evidence of cobwebs or dust. The kitchen was one of the most well-equipped kitchens I have seen in a holiday rental. The lounge was comfortable to sit in and watch tv although we couldn’t get all the channels to work (ITV was missing for example). But the internet was good enough to stream so it didn’t matter. Beds were comfortable and showers were good. An excellent pub is 2 minutes walk, the beach and shops, tea room, a second pub, 5 minutes walk. We walked to Dunwich and back on the beach which was 7.5 miles but all flat and had an excellent lunch at The Ship. The only recommendation I would make is please please invest in a new hoover. One equipped for dog hair would be great as the Henry just doesn’t cut it. I did my best to clean up but it was hard work.

  • "Overall the house is lovely."

However there were lots of areas covered in dust, bugs and lots of spider webs. It hasn’t been deep cleaned for a long time. All the standard cleaning was done such as floors and the counters ect. Bed sheets and towels were lovely, pillows on the beds are very old and need replacing. The bathrooms were in good shape and very clean. The sky light in the kitchen was particularly dirty with bugs and spider webs. The kitchen was very well stocked but there were no cleaning products or bin bags or soap in the bathrooms. We had four dishwasher tablets for our stay. If this isn’t to be provided in the house whilst asking guests to maintain the cleanliness of a home, especially one that hosts a lot of people, guests need to be informed at the time of booking or in the confirmation to bring their own household cleaning products. The garden was very well kept and pretty / of a great size. The living areas were all up to date with TV’s and devises required to accommodate. The village is charming and well worth the visit. We very much enjoyed our stay however these notes on the cleanliness I hope will assist to improve the quality of your service.

What a lovely property, in such a beautiful location Very well kitted out too in the kitchen - only thing missing was a jug for drinks The only down side was it felt damp in the downstairs bedroom, and in the lounge the settees were damp or dusty Other than that a great stay thank you

  • "The house is lovely and the garden is wonderful and so safe."

My granddaughter absolutely loved being able to toddle around the garden. I did find cleanliness a bit of an issue as it looked as though some of the rooms did not appear to have been hoovered and the stairs hadn't either. Either that or a new hoover is needed. The outside patio could have done with a good sweep as well; if I had found a brush I would have done it. Other than that and the cleaner forgetting to leave the key for when I arrived so I couldn't get in, we had a wonderful time. I think a small welcome pack would be a good idea.

  • "Ideally situated on a private road, handy for pubs, tea shed and ferry to Southwold harbour."

Easy walk for children to beach and crabbing off bridges. Plenty of space in property for 8 people.

  • "The whole family travelled to Rippleway to celebrate my wife's 80th birthday."

It is an ideal property in a lovely location. We tripped out for walks to places such as Southwold (via the quaint hand rowed ferry) and eat seafood along the way. We used the local pub the Anchor on 2 occasions and found the food excellent on both trips, if a little expensive. The property suited us very well and there were only one or two slight negatives 1 The bedroom curtains should be blackout types as the morning light woke us quite early. Especially those in the bedroom with the en-suite. 2 we were unlucky to have had an attack by ants in the kitchen. Too late for owners to remedy. Overall a very pleasant experience

  • "We are four adults and four children - three generations."

We had a really lovely time. We know Walberswick well but being able to stay there, in such a lovely house and garden was really special. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Even the fridge was more than big enough - which is the first time ever! A short stroll to the centre of the village and the beach - and the weather was amazing, even in April!? Thank you very much : )

Nice and close to pubs , deli & beach. A welcome pack would of been nice - maybe surprised not to of had anything left? Think it would be appreciated and go down well with guests. However, we throughly enjoyed the property and our time in lovely Walberswick - thankyou.
