The cottage was comfortable and well equipped.

We enjoyed our stay but a there were a few things which spoilt our overall enjoyment. The cleanliness could have been much better as the cooker hob had not been properly cleaned and a greasy film had been left on the surface preventing the touch-button controls not to work properly. Once we had thoroughly cleaned it all was well! The television had been left on totally the wrong settings and we could not get it to work. Luckily the man at the Post Office re-set it for us because your emergency contact was extremely slow to react. The Freesat remote would not switch the device on, this had to been done manually by pushing the button on the device. I left a note with the remote so the next occupants would not have to have the same trouble. The Henry Vacuum cleaner was very difficult and very heavy for us to use.
