"Really enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse."
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The position overlooking the Deben estuary was spectacular with wonderful views. Loved the town of Woodbridge and the great local walks. The very generous welcome pack was much appreciated and enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

The Penthouse is bright and contemporary with beautiful furnishings. It is equipped to an extremely high standard. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning to the property in the future!

Where do I start; with the wonderful panoramic views, the cleanliness and high spec of the decor and furnishings, warm, quiet, easy access. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed river walks and pottering around pretty Woodbridge then relaxed with a glass of wine and enjoyed watching the comings and goings on the estuary. Nice touch was wine and flowers when we arrived plus tea/coffee etc. Can highly recommend!!!!!

We loved the quality of the finish and furnishings (we need that Fama chair!). Opening the patio doors after a day out and sitting with a beer looking out over the estuary would never get boring! The Penthouse is so comfortable. Like being at home but with a much better view! Although we could have stayed in and looked at the view & all the activity below us on the river, we did go out everyday and saw so much in this small corner of Suffolk - we only ever went North & still didn't see everything. Highlights were Sutton Hoo, Southwold, Orford and dinner at The Unruly Pig.

Beautifully maintained, well equipped and comfortably furnished……….with thoughtful extras such fresh flowers, chocolates, bottle of fizz and milk in the fridge adding a touch of romance and practicality. It is easy to imagine that this sunny south-facing apartment can be everything from a warm and cosy retreat in winter to a bright and airy, summer base. Sitting in the comfy Fama chair in front of the open French windows, there is an air of peace and tranquility as you watch the ebb and flow of the river and the comings and goings of people below. And certainly no shortage of things to do and interesting places to explore in Woodbridge and its environs. Wonderful long weekend here …… hope to come again sometime.

Great location - a couple of good restaurants in the same building, and well sited for the town and for country walks/Sutton Hoo.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to reduce the number of infusers - the smell was a bit overpowering.

"Having dodged the snow across the country, we turned up to the apartment, parked the car securely and walked in to a warm and beautifully presented Penthouse."
No need to unpack straight away as refreshments were to hand.
Tea, coffee, juice, milk or if you preferred wine.
The apartment is spacious with wonderful views, a kitchen that is easy to work in with everything to hand. Make use of the local fresh produce and sit and enjoy your food at the table watching the world and wildlife go by.
We found the hallway a blessing, due to weather. You can take off wet clothing and leave it out of sight and hanging up to dry away from your private space.
Bedroom and bathroom both spacious and comfortable.
There is plenty to keep you busy all day.
We found our hosts, neighbours and locals very friendly. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
We didn’t achieve everything we had planned so we will definitely be returning in the future. We hope that when we do the Penthouse will be available.

"Lovely apartment with great views over the River Deden."
The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. Only issue we had was with the remote for the car park bollards, which was not working. A new battery sorted this out.

"A fabulous mid-week break in a stunning comfortable apartment."
Views across the River Deben were ever changing with deep fog thinning to blue skies and evening sunsets. Loved the calls of the waders out on the muddy shoreline as the tides come and went. Day trips to: Aldeburgh, Dunwich (beach & heath), Sutton Hoo, Beth Chatto's Gardens, saved a few for our next visit. The longshed Sutton Hoo saxon ship project was very interesting. We will sign up as 'Friends' to stay informed. Many thanks for a magical break.
