Don’t be put off by the railway line; the trains pass by so slowly and quietly that you don’t hear them. The view of the Deben, from the main bedroom, is stunning too. The flat is very well equipped, the hostess has thought of everything you might need and more.

"A fabulous week in this extremely comfortable apartment."
It withstood the winds of Storm Henk well and we loved looking out at the River Deben. Recommend "The Gallery" restaurant and beverages at The Anchor. The Bull and lunch at the King's Head. Tremendous runs and walks along the estuary.

...a brilliant apartment very tastefully furnished, a super comfy bed and everything you could possibly need for your stay. Close to Woodbridge shops and lovely walks along the River Deben.

"The Woodbridge Penthouse is a spacious and attractive third floor apartment with lovely views of the River Deben and the town."
We particularly enjoyed watching the trains as well; though the excellent windows and balcony doors meant it was not noisy. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms immaculate with fluffy towels and plentiful hot water. Our favourite was the open plan lounge with table and chairs (with views), the comfy sofas and the high end kitchen. The underfloor heating kept it cosy. We enjoyed everything on our doorstep, including the walk along the river path looking at the stunning river views, the historic Tide Mill, the nearby restaurants (The Woodyard Pizza and The Boathouse Kitchen and Bar), and how picturesque the area is. The town is worth a visit too with its eclectic range of shops and cafes, etc. We didn't want to leave the warmth and comfort of it the apartment. And hope to return in the springtime. The only suggestion we would make is perhaps the addition of smaller mugs or cups and saucers. And though a microwave is referred to in the Welcome Pack, there isn't one. We highly recommend staying at this super apartment! Thank you.

"A well equipped, modern, well presented property ideally located for exploring Woodbridge and the surrounding area."
Ideal for me to walk out to photograph the river at sunrise and sunset each day.
The master bedroom window would benefit from something to hold it open rather than just swinging freely.

"We have had a really enjoyable six days!"
We have explored Suffolk throughout the days, and evenings we have walked Woodbridge!
We have enjoyed coffee at the local cafe's and restaurants.
We have been extremely happy with our well fitted apartment, with really good quality beds, bed linen, furniture etc.
We arrived back to superb meals cooked by our "in house" chef - hence the necessity to walk early evenings! Thank you!

From the property we enjoyed the many fabulous views of Woodbridge, including the beautiful river and the bustling street leading up to the shops. The property is of an exceptionally high standard and everything impressed. The beds were incredibly comfortable leading to a lovely nights sleep. A fantastic location for exploring the river and enjoying the restaurants. The stone baked pizza restaurant is an absolute must. I also really recommend WOK IT for a delicious Chinese take away, only a 5 minute stroll from the property! I would definitely like to return to Woodbridge Penthouse next summer. Highly recommend!!!

The apartment is delightfully appointed with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Recommend visits to Sutton Hoo, Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Orford, Framlingham & Snape Maltings. Check out the Unruly Pig for a gourmet experience! Looking forward to a return visit.
