"We had a wonderful stay at White Hart Stables, it was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed."
Danny and staff in the pub were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly and helpful. The food at the the White Hart was really good, with a nice varied menu with a great atmosphere and was obviously well patronised by locals and visitors alike, as it was always busy. I couldn't fault our stay and would happily return.

From the moment we arrived, the owner was warm and welcoming and even bought us a pint at the adjoining pub. The cottage was well equipped, clean, warm and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We got to be the first guests to benefit from sky tv in the bedroom and the brand new kingsize bed with memory foam mattress.
We would recommend White Hart Stables and also the White Hart Inn next door, great food, friendly and a good atmosphere.

"White Hart Stable is an extremely comfortable, well-equipped cottage."
Even though it’s adjacent to the pub, it’s extremely quiet and private. In fact, the pub is an added bonus as it has an upmarket ambience serving good food by solicitous staff. There’s a well- stocked village shop nearby and a bus stop outside the pub. It’s in a excellence location for visiting Battle Abbey, Pevensey Castle and Herstmonceaux Castle and seaside destinations are only six miles away. Highly recommend White Hart Stable for an excellent stay.

"White Hart Stables a pleasant and clean property."
Glad I took my own cafetière and coffee beans. Small double bed ideal for me as travelling alone. Garden needs tarting up. Recommend Monday curry night at the White Hart pub next door.
The property is on the main road through to Hastings which did cause noise. Catsfield ideal for exploring the area. Some decent walks nearby.
An enjoyable week.

"The property is a really lovely well equipped cottage with everything needed and very comfortable apart from the bed."
We found it small and would suggest it needs to be changed to a kingsize bed.
The pub next door was really lovely, We were given a very warm welcome and we enjoyed all our meals except on the first night my husbands steak & Kideny pudding was served ice cold. This was soon put right. Curry night on Monday was a really good deal and great curry. The staff were all, without exception, very friendly and helpful. On the first night my husband reported the TV in the bedroom wasn't working because the aerial was missing plus the cooker hood was filthy. Neither of these was corrected. The shower attachment on the wall is loose and needs attention.
I notice from other feedback the garden needs attention. We agree it is full of weeds and no flowers.
My final comment would be that this lovely cottage is by a busy main road during the week and traffic noise woke us both around 6am. We read all the previous comments before we booked and this was not mentioned. Had it been mentioned I am afraid we would not have booked it,
