Great homely house with lovely garden, so good we have booked again

Lovely week over Christmas.

Plenty of room for 10 people (5 adults and 5children). House had everything we needed. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house, which the owners have put a lot of thought into making it a home from home for all ages and very well equipped.

We really enjoyed our time at Sea Dreams, and would definitely book again. We liked the area, and found it to be more central that we initially thought , close to the park, station , and many local shops and pubs. Really nice garden. Thank you to the owners , we did not want for anything.

Would love to have seen linings/black out linings in the living room as it was hard to watch tv even with the curtains drawn

We had an enjoyable stay at Sea Dreams.

The house was spacious and met the needs of our mixed generational group well. Overall it was comfortable and sufficiently well equipped. Maintenance was a bit rough around the edges but it didn’t impact our stay. The beds were soft but not uncomfortable although a couple of them looked like they would need replacing soon. We also appreciated that there is a washer-drier which was not mentioned on the website. The location was convenient. It is in a quiet residential area not far from the train station and sea. We also enjoyed walking to some good nearby restaurants and micropubs.

Really comfortable holiday home with masses of space and everything we needed.

Dog friendly. Great location to visit the sea, Aundel and Brighton. The weather was very mixed but we still found lots to do and the house was cosy even during a storm. Would recommend.

Clean and comfortable house, perfect for a dog and a family.

We had a lovely holiday in this spacious, comfortable and clean house.

Thoughtfully equipped and just as in the description and photos. The walk in shower was particularly appreciated- very adjustable and powerful. Great location, very peaceful but lots of amenities a short walk away. For longer trips we used the car and found it easy to get out on the main roads to explore Sussex's many attractions. We also used the local bus service and the train from the station down the road- both proved very easy to use and meant we could all enjoy a pint and not worry about parking. We really liked the local Bengali restaurant, Shafiques, which was a 5 minute stroll away. Also, the 'Sistine Chapel' fresco in The English Martyr's Church is well worth a visit as is Worthing Museum (free entry) especially for anyone who likes British costumes.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Would definitely book again it was brilliant.

We had a lovely week staying at this great house.

The house was a brilliant space for adults, kids and dogs with an equally excellent garden. We had beautiful weather so the garden umbrella was a very welcome addition. Great location too.

Great location for visiting the surroundings by car or train. Good communication with the owners. Some suggestions to make it even more comfortable; net curtains would be nice and also blinds during the hot weather so you don't have to close the curtains which makes it dark inside. Some of the garden furniture needs a bit of tlc. We had a nice stay.

Sea Dreams is a great holiday home with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We were a group of 10 people and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone We would book again

Sea Dreams is a lovely comfortable house with plenty of space to spread out with the conservatory and garden.

Our only concern was that for a party of 8 and potentially 10, one bathroom is not enough. Thankfully there is a downstairs loo! The owners were really helpful and it was lovely to have a personal email from them before we left.

Sea Dreams looks like an unobtrusive semi in an ordinary street, but we found it excellent for our stay.

There are enough bedrooms, a good bathroom and an extra toilet downstairs. At the back, the conservatory, the patio and the lawn beyond that provide space for a good-sized group of people to hang out together, and there is enough garden furniture too. A small local station, Durrington-on-Sea, is only five minutes' walk away and has trains to London or Littlehampton.

Myself, brother and our families took my 92 year old dad down to spend some time with his brother who lives in Goring.

I had received an e-mail the previous day from the lovely John and Sue who sent directions and explained how to get into the property. We arrived and found a very spacious, very well equipped house. Considering there was 8 of us, there was plenty of room. Our only negative is for that amount if people, it would have been nice to of had an extra bathroom (which could easily be added to one of the huge bedrooms) but please don’t take this as a complaint as the house description was accurate and it would not stop us staying at this property again. Will just have to plan wash rota better in advance!. The property was really well located, close to a selection of shops. We all agreed that it was a beautiful, solid family house that felt really homely. Would highly recommend to anyone and will almsosr certainly be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful study. the details really do need amending to say ONE bathroom as there are NOT 2 which the description says ( which is why we chose the house.

) It has one bathroom upstairs and a downstairs toilet it was good to see a 4 bread toaster but one lever is broken and has been stuck back on but it doesnt work and for the cost of the house, a replacement toaster is not a huge outlay. House is amazing, large and every room is light and spacious. garden is secure and lovely also felt strange having no nets or blinds at the windows so really glad that we slept at the back! good to see books and games for the children as well as other things like BBQ etc very close to the beach and other places of interest.

A lovely comfortable home from home .

It was very well equipped and generally spacious . The dogs loved the safe garden and it was great to be close to our friends and great walking in both directions along the seafront Parking was easy and it was only a short walk to a good range of shops and station . The owner was very helpful when we had a problem working the television . We hope to return as the house met all our requirements .

We stayed at Sea Dreams for a week, the property was very well equipped and comfortable.

Communication with the owners was quick and easy I would highly recommend this property and we are likely to stay again!!

This is an absolutely excellent holiday let and we would recommend it to all.

The quality is the fixtures and bedding etc are particularly nice and a great deal of thought has been put in to making it extremely comfortable

The house was scrupulously clean and generally well-equipped, within easy walking distance of the sea.

Spacious well equipped house.

Everything provided including cleaning products. Owner maintenance in evidence. Immaculately presented. Bedding and linen exceeded expectations from the pictures. Professionally cleaned. The only negative was it was advertised as a two bathroom property but there was only one bathroom. In addition there was a downstairs toilet. This should be advertised as such. A 9 am exit on the final day was excessively early. With a 4.30 admission on the first day it cuts the holiday down 2 days in a week.

Lovely location being close to the beach.

The property was lovely, clean and welcoming.There was plenty of space with the garden area an added bonus.

The house is very welcoming and comfortable and everything is there - home from home.

It is easy to contact the hosts if one needs, which is important on holiday, and they are charming. There is a very pleasant garden which is an added bonus. It exceeded expectations in all areas, except for its listing on the website. The reason why my listing score is so low is that I rang to check whether there were two bathrooms, not easy to tell from the 'Last Minute Cottages' website back in March. Somebody, either from Kent & Sussex Cottages or yourselves, rang back to say there were definitely two bathrooms. In fact, there is one very nice, large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower but, apart from that, there is only a small downstairs cloakroom. We were a party of six adults (all over 30) with only one couple, which is why we wanted two bathrooms. I found it confusing to have to book through so many different agents at the beginning - 'Last Minute Cottages', then 'Kent & Sussex Cottages' and finally Sykes Cottages.

The location is perfect.

Very quiet road, but near to shops and not far from the sea. The house is lovely and the owners are very nice. Everything was done to make sure our stay was amazing. Mickey

This particular house, was really well looked after and welcoming with a number of thoughtful extras.

Really contributed to relaxation for our whole family.

A real “home from home” in a safe & quiet residential area with all amenities within a few minutes drive.

The fully enclosed rear garden leading off from the kitchen was one of the reasons we chose this property which allowed our dogs the freedom to roam while we relaxed within the house. There are wooden floors in the hall, partly in the lounge & dining room and a tiled floor in the kitchen, I mention this as one of our dogs is unable to walk on these types of surfaces due to a hip problem, to overcome this, we always take rubber backed carpet runners - you might want/need to do the same. Although this is a dog friendly house, there aren’t any doggie smells (in case you haven’t got dogs). There are no net curtains or blinds to any of the windows and anyone passing can see through from the front window all the way to the rear garden, this took some getting used to...(especially upstairs when you get out of bed & throw the curtains open to the front of the house). The owners have thought of everything within the house and even supplied a small welcome pack (nice touch). We enjoyed our 2 week stay immensely and will be returning in the future. If you are considering booking this property for your next break I would highly recommend it.

Seadreams was a very clean comfortable and spacious home from home.

There was everything you need for a holiday in this very well equipped house and nothing had been overlooked from the well thought out kitchen to the seating in the garden. We had a problem with our car and couldn't return home till a day later than planned and we were allowed to stay an extra night which was perfect for us .

Sea dreams is a really lovely family home with excellent accommodation to relax in.

The property is located in a peaceful street but is just a short 10 minute walk to all essential local amenities. The beach was a 20 minute walk, 'though just 4 minutes by car (with ample free street parking). The garden, which far exceeds the impression given by the picture on the website, was a real highlight for us all due to its mixture of paved area and lawn and the comfortable garden furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner, John, provided all the visitor guidance required.

John,the owner was a great host, very helpful and accommodating.

The house is even better than the photos and in a great location. It was very family friendly and my grandchildren had a great time. Would happily recommend Sea Dreams to anyone. Thanks for a great holiday.
