  • "A lovely property with lovely owners."

Beautiful garden. Well situated for visiting the area. Welcome pack of milk, fruit juice, tea + coffee very much appreciated.

  • "The Annexe was exactly as described."

It had all the kitchen equipment we needed, adequate space for eating and watching TV, and a comfortable bed. The only extra thing I would ask for is a bread knife! Shirley and Nigel made us feel very welcome and I enjoyed sitting in their garden with the beautiful flowers.

  • "The annexe was perfect for our holiday, conveniently located for trips in different directions and also walking distance from the Downs, so we were able to enjoy a walk on the evening of our arrival and view a beautiful sunset."

The hosts were very helpful, generous and made us feel welcome, leaving some essentials in the fridge and cupboards to make things easier. They allowed us to share their lovely garden with a view over Lancing to the sea beyond. We had a fantastic week, walking on the Downs, visiting gardens and seeing friends. There was too much to do in one week and we hope one day to return.

  • "Lots of lovely extras( small kitchen scales, apron, bath robes) Exceptionally clean and fresh."

Lovely garden, although we didn’t take full advantage of that. Very private, even though attached to the owner’s property. Owners very helpful.

  • "The accommodation was extremely well designed with access to their garden."

It was spotlessly clean, and well provided - the extras were very much appreciated. The location was within a few minutes walk of the countryside leading onto the South Downs and yet only a couple of miles from the beach and promenade. Nigel & Shirley were very welcoming and helpful.

Great little base with everything we wanted it was clean, peacefully and perfectly located for memorable bike rides on the South Downs and coast. We really enjoyed chilling in your 'sun trap' garden. Many Thanks Julia and Garry (Dartford, Kent)

  • "This apartment was just fabulous."

It was extremely clean and homely. The hosts had supplied coffee, tea, sugar, fruit, milk and orange juice and shower gel which was not expected, but much appreciated. There were also fluffy bathrobes to borrow and slippers. A heated towel rail and heating in the apartment was also very welcome, as well as use of a washing machine and dryer. Every type of cooking implement and dish was also supplied if you fancied cooking. The hosts were welcoming but not intrusive. Would highly recommend this apartment. Really enjoyed staying here. Stayed 17-23 June 2018. Lynn and Desley from Australia

  • "We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival."

There was no mention of the steps leading down to the property! The directions to the property where muddling but we mentioned this to the owner and he said he will clarify those with your office. The accommodation is below the main house and the family are unaware of the noise they make overhead of their paying guests.
