A popular coastal resort in the mid 19th century, Lancingis now a well-stocked village and perfect for a holiday by the sea. It offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as so many activities to enjoy such as Go Karting and Brooklands Leisure Park. There is a stunning beach with a green and a park nearby, perfect for a picnic on a sunny day. Lancing is laced with incredible architecture with the astounding Lancing College and the Grade II* listed Shoreham Tollbridge, the oldest licensed tollbridge in the United Kingdom. The neighbouring town of Worthing also offers a lot in terms of amenities and activities including a beach. Slightly further is the incredibly charming Brighton which is most definitely worth a visit whilst you're in the area.
