The property

Lavender Cottage is a three-bedroom, end-of-terrace property based in the market town of Hailsham, Sussex. Featuring a beautifully maintained rear garden and a traditional interior, this pet-friendly retreat is a fantastic choice for families or two couples looking to spend some time in this region of Sussex.

On entering the cottage, you will find a kitchen stocked with all the essentials, perfect for whipping up tasty meals for all the family.

The adjacent dining room offers a great space for dinner parties, with a sitting room just a few steps away.

There’s plenty of natural light from the skylight and soft sofas to lounge on while watching your favourite TV shows. Travel upstairs and you will find two double bedrooms that are perfect for couples, as well as a single room for a little one. The highlight of the property is the beautiful rear garden; directly from the lounge there is a seating area for two with an umbrella and there is an awning from the back of the house for sun and for rain, which continues a little way into the garden leading to a circular patio complete with parasol, garden table and chairs that is perfect for alfresco dining. For an unbeatable day out, head to Eastbourne, nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park and famous ‘Seven Sisters’, and immerse yourself in its vibrant 3 mile long promenade, picturesque beach and iconic Victorian pier. Just down the coast you’ll find the historic town of Hastings, where you can delve into the fascinating history of 1066 Battle of Hastings with a visit to the Battlefield and Abbey, or take a stroll along its bustling high street. Head west along the coast and you'll arrive at the seaside resort of Brighton famed for the Lanes and perfect for a leisurely amble.

And if you prefer to venture out without the car, the bus stops just outside Lavender Cottage.

With the busy resort town of Eastbourne a short drive away, spend the day wandering down the beautiful beach and famous pier before stopping off for some fish and chips and soaking up culture at Towner Art Gallery. The stunning town of Hastings, just 17.9 miles away, boasts a rich history with sites such as the Norman ruins of Hastings Castle and Hastings Museum and Art Gallery. Take the East Hill up to Hastings Country Park and take in the breath-taking views of the southeast coast as you stroll.
