    Still not sure that the dishwasher was working properly as the crockery came out cold and wet the first night . We handwashed the rest of the week . Everything else was fine.

  • "We were a party of six adults and en;joyed our hliday at Sea House in spite of some patchy weather."

    The house is amazing with the large comfortable sitting/dining room. Thje expansive window with sea views was incredible The house was clean, comfortable with all facilities provided. One quibble was the lack of matching wineglasses. This would be appreciated. Plenty of hot water all day and comfortable heating. We hope to return. The Snashalls.

  • "The house was amazing and the view from the living room was just stunning."

    The house was clean and very well maintained. We all had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful property. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if the garden area was a little more cared for and some nicer garden furniture was there.

  • "Ideal situation for immediate access to the beach & promenade."

    The house was clean, light and spacious. Our 4 star (rather than 5 Star) rating was due to the poorly maintained, shabby and unusable outside space, plus the fact that some kitchen items were clearly worn out or not well looked after and should have been replaced ( ie Baking trays ). The guide to the house needs updating ie to reflect the new router info, an up to date gas safety report together with the bin schedule dates so the correct bin is put on on the correct day.

    Thank you for staying with us and glad you enjoyed the house and its location. Thank you for your feedback which I will try and answer/ explain! I'm sorry about the baking trays happily they were already on order and have been replaced . The garden at the back is purely to provide privacy and is planted fully so is not meant to be used. The picnic table is at the front on the paved area so guests can sit there and see the sea. We now have to use Biffa for rubbish removal and they rarely stick to the day they say so I know it's frustrating but we can't give a specific weekly collection date as they don't! I am updating the Wi-Fi details as the hub has just been replaced. I have the gas safety report as it's done yearly and they sent it to my home address. Hopefully that covers it! Property Owner

  • "The general waste bin was full when we arrived."

    We put it out on monday night ready for collection on tuesday but it was not emptied. I phoned Sykes and they said they would sort it out but the bin was still full when we left. We disposed of our general waste in the local authority bins. Otherwise we had a really good holiday again at the Sea House and will be back later on this year.

    We have had a nightmare with Biffa as they keep rescheduling when they will empty the bins. They are booked in and then they don't come.... I'm sorry as it's not ideal but not sure what else we can do. We will complain again! So nice that you are back staying with us again.... thank you. Property Owner

    just one problem did occur, the coat hooks on the door at the bottom of the stairs fell off when i put a coat on it. otherwise all else was just fine .

  • "A very comfortable, well appointed and superbly situated rental."

    Ideal for our family get-together with the beach so close and the town with its fine shops (+ a Waitrose!) within walking distance. The bistro/bar five minutes along the esplanade is to be recommended. The bright lights and amusements of nearby Worthing offered entertainment when needed.

  • "Had i really good holiday again here, even though the weather was'nt very good."

    Just to let you know the clothes horse was broken when we tried to use it and we could not peg outside as the garden and path were very overgrown. A chap came on wednesday and cut us a way through.

  • "We all enjoyed our stay at Sea House."

    The property was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the sea view from the big window. The kitchen was well equipped too and the big table meant we could all play card and board games easily when it was raining. Regarding cleanliness there were no cleaning products at all in the bathrooms and no surface cleaners which can be useful especially when there are 8 adults. I cleaned a large seagull dropping off the kitchen window that had been there for some time as it was dried on. The key safe could also do with a drop of WD40 as it was very stiff.

    Thank you for staying with us and so glad you enjoyed your stay. I have asked the cleaners to replace the cleaning products that must have run out.... sorry about that. Seagulls are a local inhabitant and though we get our windows cleaned regularly they seem to love target practice with all the windows of the houses! Property Owner

  • "It was amazing to stay in sea house, every thing was perfect."

    Kitchen was provided with al essentials. Beds were super comfortable. My only issue is that upstairs toilet should have curtain or blinds Bcz we were hesitant to use at night time

  • "Both bins were full and put out the recycling as requested."

    this was not due so was not emptied. took contents of both bins to local tip. 4 trips. there needs to be a blind at the bathroom window for privacy as there was one before. ( we have stayed many times before ) everything else was just fine. we had a really good holiday again

    AHH John I am so sorry. The council no longer collect the bins and Biffa have proved to be a little erratic! I am so sorry you had to inconvenience yourselves.   • "There is a small water leak on the back of the bathroom basin tap which occasionally wets the floor and the bathroom window could do with a blind fitting or opaque glass installed."

RUSTINGTON

Littlehampton 1.8 miles, Arundel 7 miles; Worthing 8 miles; Chichester 14 miles.

Rustington is a thriving coastal village set between Worthing and Bognor Regis, with a good range of shops, both small independent retailers and national names, as well as a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants. This coastal village incorporates an assortment of restaurants offering delicious meals to quaint afternoon tea, so you can tuck into an indulgent lunch after a morning wandering around the shops. A walk or short drive along the front will take you to Littlehampton, which has a number of attractions, including a leisure centre with swimming pool, crazy golf, pitch and putt, miniature railway, tennis courts and an amusement park. There are two beaches in Littlehampton set either side of the River Arun. The Blue Flag, coastguard patrolled sandy east beach is perfect for young and old with indoor and outdoor attractions. The west beach is protected and offers sand dunes and wonderful wildlife. The marina and harbour offer riverside walks, boat trips and a visitor centre. Historic houses and castles are also within easy travelling distance. Arundel Castle and Gardens, where the Dukes of Norfolk have been in residence for over 850 years, are just six miles from Rustington.
