Tommy's

We absolutely LOVED the cottage.

Of all of the places we have stayed on our two week trip to Scotland this was our favorite location. Everyone got their own bed, there were towels, it was clean, there was a helpful manual of what was expected. We couldn't find something and the owner responded right away and brought it over. We were only blocks away from restaurants, grocery store and where the tour buses picked up.

Excellent cottage and great host.

Lovely welcome pack with home made cakes. Off street parking and short walk into the centre. Nice bathroom. Comfy beds. Great that the property had a dehumidifier to help dry clothes on a wet day.

Convenietly located with all the facilities we needed

The house was cold the settee was in front of the radiator and was probably the warmist thing in the living room .

Double bedroom was very nice but has drawers that do not shut properly. Twin room very tight and my son found a dirty towel under the bed. Electric plug in kitchen to near to the sink.

Tommy's is a lovely, comfortable, well kitted out place to stay.

It also has two parking spaces which is a positive as most parking in the area is by permit. It's close to lots of services & walking distance to the city centre. It's location also makes it easy to get out of the city without having to deal with lots of traffic.

Fabulous bungalow - really lovely welcome and welcome pack - Close to town centre and attractions in Inverness area - great castles!

Would definitely book again

Everything was great - location, facilities, garden, comfortable beds, welcome basket.

Minor issue with inconvenient dining table.

We are just back from a short family break at Tommy's bungalow.

Can highly recommend. Easy walking distance to city centre and local attractions. Really handy having a driveway. Was lovely to meet Janet on arrival and there was a very nice food hamper too. Would definitely book again.

Janet is a fab asset to have in hand for anybody with a disability or mobility restricted party.

She helped my elderly mum in every way possible and made the stay comforting and friendly. We left with a great friend and happy memories will be coming back again this Spring!

Lovely property with good central heating, good Wi-Fi and well-equipped kitchen.

Plenty of space on the drive which was a bonus. The city centre and river is a fairly short walk away, yet the cottage is located on a quiet road - best of both worlds. Generous welcome basket on arrival plus some home-baked goodies. All very positive.

Great place to stay with a warm welcome.

Only a 10 minute walk to town and off street parking it was a lucky find. I would definitely stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay.

Thanks to Janet for her basket of goodies on arrival. Property is central to city centre,with easy access to major roads if venturing further afield. Off street parking is a major plus.All in all first class.

The bungalow had all the facilities one needed and is also ideally situated to visit the local attractions.

The off street parking was a real bonus. The owner of the property lives very close by and her friendly welcome and advice was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tommy’s.

Given our age group and the length of our stay the only two things we would recommend are more comfortable chairs in the sitting room and a permanent washing line in the back garden.

When we arrived at Tommys in Inverness we found a very clean and comfy cottage ready for us to start our 2 week holiday.

Janet had left us a lovely goodie basket thank you Janet it was a most welcome surprise and very useful, she made Trevor a yummy Banana bread, which he loved and what he didnt manage to eat he brought home with us thank you from Trevor. The cottage was well kept and had plenty of bedding,blankets and towels. The kitchen well well equipt with everything you could possibly need for cooking a meal to washing your clothes. Janet and Tommy were a lovely couple who were on hand should we have needed anything. we would definately recommend this cottage to family and friends should they want to visit Inverness and we would return should we decide to do a return visit. Thank you again it was well worth a visit.

Cottage was very welcoming and clean. Would have liked some sunshine but unfortunately you can't order that :-)

This was my second stay at Tommy’s.

As last time the property was sparkling clean, warm and comfortable. The property is close enough to the city centre and shops to be convenient but far enough away to be a nice quiet place to stay. Off road parking is really important to me and there’s room for two cars on the drive. I will definitely book the property again when I next come up to Inverness and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I had a lovely week at Tommy’s.

I was out on the hills every day in some pretty brutal weather so it was nice to come back to a warm, clean and comfortable home. Off street parking is important to me and you can fit two cars easily on the drive. The property is located in a convenient location for restaurants and bars and despite this I found it to be remarkably quiet. The bed is super comfortable. Unusually for a holiday cottage it is really warm and there is plenty of hot water, the shower is great and the kitchen is well stocked and the oven is fast to heat and everything in the kitchen works well. The sofas are also comfortable so staying in is a pleasure. There was a lovely welcome pack including some chocolate biscuits which was gratefully received when I arrived after a ten hour drive to Inverness. The owners are lovely and can’t do enough for you. I can’t recommend Tommy’s highly enough and I’ve just rebooked it for a trip in February.

Spacious property for 2 people, on a quiet street, only a short (scenic) walk into city centre.

A great base for exploring the Highlands. Off road parking was appreciated. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of linen/towels provided. Shower was terrific - we could have stayed in it all day! Outdoor area is nice to sit in if you get the weather (we did!) Welcome basket provided was a nice touch, though Aldi is only 2 mins away. All logistics went perfectly and would happily recommend.

We had the most enjoyable 2 weeks at Tommy's, the welcome pack was such a delightful surprise and saved us rushing off to shop.

Spotlessly clean with pretty much all you need for self catering. Plenty of linen, cutlery and crockery. So convenient to shops, pubs, restaurants and many activities. Tommy and Janet were divine hosts, nothing was too much trouble and their local knowledge was invaluable. Janet's marmalade and cakes were to die for. My only suggestion, a big mat on the sitting room floor and coat hooks at the front door. Highly recommended, would stay again.
