  • "It was the perfect place to stay for my return to Ardersier."

The house is very well located with a short 5-minute walk to the local pub and the 2 two main shops. The less than 5-minute walk to Wendy's Cafe in the old school is not to be missed for breakfast and/or lunch. The house is very livable with extremely warm, comfortable beds, an inviting living room with a wood/coal fire and magnificent views across the firth to the Black Isles. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything I needed for myself and when I had guests. The house is less than 15 minutes from Inverness or Nairn and only a couple of hours' drive to the famous Speyside whisky country. I was fortunate to be in touch with the extremely helpful owner, who was available without being intrusive. I will rebook Fisher Cottage on my next trip to the area, and I highly recommend it for short or longer-term stays.

Thank you for your kind feedback, Les. I work hard to make Fishers Cottage a home from home and it's always a pleasure to read it is appreciated. It was wonderful to be able to welcome you to Fishers Cottage and to hear of your family connection to Ardersier. Wishing you safe (and smooth!) travels back to Australia. I look forward to welcoming you back to Fishers Cottage on your next trip. Haste ye back! Emma Property Owner

  • "Excellent property with stunning views of the Moray Firth."

The house had everything we needed for our stay. The ground floor bedroom was great for my elderly mother, along with the ground floor bathroom and shower. The property is nicely located between Inverness and Nairn with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Have already booked to stay here again.

I'm looking forward to welcoming you back in 2026! Thank you for your feedback. Property Owner
