Firthview is an absolutely first class holiday let!

The cottage is spacious and immaculately clean and tidy, with quality bedding and towels. The peace and quiet, and the stunning views, make this property a relaxing haven all year round. We love everything about Firthview, and hope to return very soon!

Firthview exceeded our expectations - extremely well appointed, very large and comfortable living spaces, immaculately clean.

What wonderful , panoramic views to the Firth! It was faultless and we soon relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here and hope to return soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in Firthview, it has beautiful long distance views across open countryside to the Firth and is incredibly private & very peaceful.

Firthview Cottage, is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in.

Comfort, clean and also top quality. From the kitchen to the bathroom, everything is just lovely, very comfortable bed with top quality linen and duvet,pillows. Shower large and top quality as are the towels. Nice big fridge freezer and a excellant and very clean cooker. Also the view from this cottage over the Firth and further north or east is amazing, so on a nice evening a lovely place to relax and listen to the bird song and watch the world go by.

Firthview provides absolutely everything that we’re looking for in a holiday let….

stylish and spacious accommodation, which is spotlessly clean, a peaceful location with fabulous views….. and friendly, helpful owners! We have already booked our 5th week in this gorgeous property…..and that says it all!

Genuine 5 star accommodation in a fabulous location. We also had the privilege of viewing a truly amazing Aurora Borealis during our stay - from the patio!

Lovely cottage very clean and warm, everything you need to cook any meal.

The bed is very comfortable with luxury linen. There is a very large shower with plenty of hot water. We cannot wait to come back next May.

Superb property.

Well equipped, spotless and home from home and very comfortable. The views are stunning on clear days over to the Sutors.

We have used Firthview on a few occasions this is a fantastic property of the highest standard.

We stayed in Firthview which was a lovely little house.

The house is located on a small road and is surrounded by fields with a view of the Moray Firth and surrounding hills, which is a stunning location. The property itself is gorgeous and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. I liked the layout of the house, the living room and kitchen are in the middle with a bedroom and bathroom at each end of the house. There are patio doors in both bedrooms and the living room providing access to the garden area. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, there's a washing machine, tumble dryer, BBQ, cooker, air fryer, dishwasher, coffee pod machine, iron/ironing board, clothes horse, blankets to use if it's cold, coolbox, towels for use outdoors, hairdryer in each bedroom, plenty of cleaning products and washing machine capsules and when we arrived the owners had left butter, cheese, milk, coffee, tea and sugar, shortbread and oatcakes, so we didn't need to rush out for shopping. There was also salt, pepper, kitchen foil, cling film, cooking oil, they really have thought of everything! There are a few games in the property which were fun to play at night after dinner, we loved the round the world race! There is a set of binoculars which were great as the area has lots of nice birds. There were House Martins building a nest under the roof of the house while we were there which was amazing to see. The only 2 things I can say that the house needs to make it perfect, the back door into the utility room needs a handrail, my dad struggles a bit with mobility and that step is high. A handrail would make it much easier. There is a front door with no step, but the utility room door is closer to where you park. And also the small bedroom needs a mirror, maybe on the back of the bedroom door, there wasn't anywhere for me to dry my hair or put my make up on while my partner was in the shower. There are 2 bathrooms in the property, 1 in each bedroom and there is another toilet in the utility room We had a fabulous stay and have stayed in a few other Sykes properties, I would say that this was the best one yet. The house is beautifully decorated and is modern, the beds are comfy and I felt so at home, I didn't want to leave. It is such a beautiful area, great for getting away from it all as its so quiet and peaceful, I loved watching all the birds in the morning and stargazing at night, you can see so many as it's such a dark area. Would definitely go back!!

This property is a fantastic place for a relaxing break….

.at any time of year! The cottage is immaculately clean, and so comfortable and spacious. The views of countryside and firth are truly spectacular, and we were so lucky to enjoy them on clear and sunny days! This was our 3rd visit to this special property…..and definitely not our last!!

Very well appointed, clean, spacious and modern with an amazing view across the Moray Firth. Hosts were very welcoming. Would heartily recommend Firthview for a visit to Nairn and surrounding area.

Everything was perfect as always with a lovely festive welcome awaiting us along with a very generous supply of goodies. We’ve had a wonderful week at Firthview.

It is so comfortable, immaculately presented and has views that are second to none. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make a perfect holiday home and very kindly provided a lovely selection of goodies to welcome their guests. The location is so peaceful but really well place for exploring this beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommended and hope to return again. Just sorry we didn’t find this little gem sooner!

On arrival at the property we found it to be first class accomodation and spotlessly clean with a welcome pack that was most welcome.

The owners, Steve and Anne, were very helpful and and all information was was given. Would highly recommend and thank the owners for a brilliant stay.

We have done self catering in the highlands for many years and this property is the best we have stayed at.

Very clean and tidy inside with lots of nice touches and attention to detail from the host for people staying. Great views and location. Zero complaints us and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Firthview is absolutely superb.

A very comfortable home from home which is spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly want to enjoy your stay. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location with great views towards the Moray Firth. We enjoy wildlife and birdwatching so really nice to see the deer in the fields outside the lounge window and also the pheasants that regularly passed through the garden as well as the nesting House Martins outside. A great place to stay for all the sites we wanted to visit including Fort Augustus, RSPB Abernethy, John o’ Groats, Brodies Castle and the Dolphin Centre. We had the perfect weeks stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and would definitely book to stay again. We also received a lovely welcome pack from the owners Anne and Steve, which was very much appreciated.

Firthview is a 5 star property with spectacular views.

Everything is of a high quality, and immaculately presented. The cottage is very peaceful and private, and is a perfect base for exploring the local area. This was our second visit, and we will definitely be booking again in the future!

We had a wonderful holiday in this house.

It is warm and comfortable, well equipped and positioned perfectly to explore the Moray Firth and beyond. The view out to Cromarty was stunning in the evening when the sun was shinning. I wanted to thank Steve, the owner, for making sure everything was OK in our stay, which we were and I look forward to returning again to this property on our next Scottish holiday.

Excellent cottage with every facility you could want.

Cleanliness and comfort superb. Great location with fantastic views over the Moray Firth to the Black Isle. Never stayed in a better holiday cottage and cannot be improved. Welcome pack provided was excellent.

Out of the 4 properties we stopped in this holiday this was by far the best.

Very high-end kitchen appliances. Dream kitchen. Lovely comfortable beds and seating areas. 10/10 cleanliness. Lovely location for views over the Firth to North and South souter. Would highly recommend this property and would like to go back again.

Firthview is most definitely a five star holiday property.

The hosts have provided everything required to have a perfect holiday. They have thought of every little detail to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. We stayed here at Christmas and a beautiful tree and lovely decorations.

Firthview was a real find.

It has everything we wanted in a cottage. Situated on a hill in quiet countryside but only a few miles from a big Sainsbury's. The view took in the Moray firth and the hills beyond and the sunset which you can you enjoy while while drinking your evening aperitif. Nairn is only a few miles away with a selection of restaurants. We certainly want to return sometime.

Would highly recommend this property.

Lot of thought and effort to make guests comfortable.

It was most definitely “A HOME AWAY FROM HOME” The views around the property were breathtaking. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Firthview is a beautiful, modern and spacious property, which has been furnished and kitted out to a very high standard.

The views, of countryside and firth, are stunning in all directions! We had a wonderful week at Firthview, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to our friends and family. We will, without doubt, be returning to this lovely cottage.

This property is fairly new to the market, but it sets a standard that more established places would do well to take note.

The owners have put time and effort into all the details that make your stay a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Set in beautiful countryside, but easily within distance of all your daily requirements, Firthview is a very welcome addition to the market place with very friendly and helpful owners who go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as you could wish. We wish them both every success in the future.
