Lovely cottage, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a good stay including a gorgeous log fire.

Nice enclosed garden for the dog, and the most stunning views. Great location for the boat trips from Elogol a few mins walk away (couldn't recommend boat trip 4 from Bella Jane highly enough if you like wildlife - we had the most incredible dolphin encounter and saw all sorts of wildlife in a peaceful setting with a lovely guide) and lovely spot for sunset watching. The single track road from the main road was a bit of a pain but worth it for the remote and beautiful setting, especially if not planning to go up to the northern parts of the island every day,

If you want to feel like going at the end of the world on the beautiful isle of Skye, this is the place, comfortable with a beautiful view around the corner on the sea and the Cuillans.

The house is comfortable and your neighbours are sheeps

The property was fantastic.

A fair drive from any town but the drive was stunning and well worth it. Almost like another world. The cottage worked well with our family of 5 and the wood burning stove was wonderful at night. We had a an issue with locking the door as the lock stopped ‘relocking’. The property mgmt company was no help whatsoever ever. Took 2 days to answer a text and even then no help.

Lovely cottage, great views and enclosed garden was perfect for the dog.

I complained to sykes when we arrived and no one contacted me to date I had to spend my holiday cleaning the property we had paid over a £1000 to rent Iam not particularly impressed I'm not sure why sykes had a contacts us page if it isn't managed

The location of the property is idyllic!

Elgol is simply beautiful and it’s such a unique part of Skye. The property itself was a good base however we had to hoover and sweep on arrival and felt like certain areas were not very clean. It’s a shame as the log burner and provisions are great, I just wish there were some cleaning products available!

We had the best of times at this lovely cottage, it was welcoming, warm, well equipped ,and spotless.

The information on the facilities was clear, and very useful Thank you so much for a great stay on the fabulous Isle of Skye.

This is the first place I've stayed where bath towels are not supplied - it wouldn't take much, and would really help with packing.

Everything else was great - very comfortable cottage. We wrote in the book but a few more knives would be useful, and more of the larger mugs. There was no corkscrew, but fortunately we'd brought our own. The coffee machine for ground coffee was great to have, and there was even an airfryer! The wood burning stove was fab, the beds were comfy, location was perfect. We hadn't realised how tricky some of the local walks could be though - we left a warning about the cliff path for future guests! Highly recommend Bella Jane's boat trip to Canna.

Very lovely house, plenty of space and well equipped.

Great place to stay beds are very comfy heating works very well, bit disappointed by the lack of logs for the log burner, also kitchen utensils were in short supply although plenty of very nice crockery and cutlery.

Overall we would stay again and recommend it to our friends and family..
