Lovely cottage tucked away as you enter the village, very well equipped and clean.

There is a bus to Oban if you want to not drive, but the car is the best way to explore. Luing and Easdale are both short ferries, the latter is foot passenger only. We didnt use the store at Balvicar, as tended to buy local produce when around. The cottage is a great place to escape and a only a 30 mins drive to Oban should you need anything.

There really arent many other holiday homes so close to the sea, to a good restaurant and to tourist attractions around this price point.

Its a bit of a challenge to dry clothing if the weather is wet for a few days (but if it was a real issue, we would have jumped in the car and travelled to the petrol station dryers outside of Oban). The beds are sheer perfection actually. Often single bed mattress and pillows are pretty rubbish- here they're every bit as splendid as the double. On our last day i took the dog for a walk and there was a Tall Ship sitting in the bay beside the cottage. You cannae whack this place- its not your regular holiday home in a regular holiday location.
