Once you have arrived at your secluded spot just off the main road, park up in the ample space and head up the steps to the door, before kicking off your boots and hanging coats in the handy porch entrance.
Continue through into the living/dining room and delight in the classic style surrounding you, with large windows affording you dinner with a view from the dining table, and traditional tartan carpet leading you to the sitting area where a woodburning stove can warm you in the winter months before the TV.
In the next room is a wonderful fitted kitchen, offering plenty of preparation space along with a host of appliances, including a double electric oven and a halogen hob, with a convenient dishwasher and washer/dryer too!
From here you can find the ground-floor bedroom, featuring a double bed which is served by the ground-floor shower room, great for those with limited mobility.

The garden area outside is perfect for sitting out and soaking up the views of the surrounding mountains while you sip a morning coffee, with lots of wildlife regularly visiting the area, you might even see red stags up close!
A track leads from the front of the cottage down to Loch Shiel offering a great way to start your day with an amble along the waters.

The West Highland Railway Museum is located in the restored Glenfinnan station, whilst another must-see is the Glennfinnan Monument, home to a visitor centre too, it's a tribute to those who perished fighting the Jacobite cause, surrounded by the incredible scenery of Loch Shiel.

What guests are saying
Beautiful view from the living room and v comfy beds.
However leaking shower into the living room, dishwasher broken and wood burning stove out of action means 3 star given. Would be a higher score if the property was well maintained.
Can't really go wrong.
The house is very comfortable its right in the heart of the Highlands. Its across the road from the steam train (the Harry Potter one) and a 15 min walk from stunning lake used in the Highlander. Just take it slow on the access road its just 200 meters or so but its a little rough. Otherwise as good as you will find in the highlands
Great property in and fantastic location.
The property was clean and tidy, everything we needed for a family of 5 and two dogs. However, it would have been even better if the grass had been cut in the garden so that the dogs could use it. The property was central to everywhere we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend and return.
