Yes we throughly enjoyed are stay at the property it was the peace and quiet of the place which we were looking for And the owner jonn was always on hand if we needed him It was very dog friendly our 16 month old staffy throughly enjoyed the 2 acres of enclosed field which was kept nicely cut .

We especially liked the cottage and the use of the paddock to exercise our two dogs. The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and homely. We can’t wait to return -,there is so much still to see and do - of course we had the best April weather we could have asked for..

Gorgeous setting and lovely ‘hosts’ If you like rural, you’ll love this place, very cosy, so close to the prehistoric landscape, the area has been settled for over 3000 years and yet less populated than 2000 years ago!

If you love tranquility, scenery and quality places to see/eat … the scenery is breathtaking xx

Great property and very helpful host.

It was tucked away up a dirt track = peace, dark sky's at night, wonderful scenery. Property well equipped and nice and warm. Fast Internet especially considering the location. West Coast of Scotland means everything is a bit of a drive away. Loved it.

John and Sue were friendly and approachable.

They provide advice about the locality, walking, places to visit, and who to speak to. The cottage was immaculate and well equipped. Warm and cosy. Dark skies and no noise. Peace and quiet. The only complaint, and it's a minor one, would be the directions could be a little clearer - i.e. take the driveway opposite the turn for Craobh Haven. Sign on the telegraph pole for Lergyconniemhor Holiday Cottages.

Warm, comfortable and quiet - just what we wanted. Very dog friendly with a huge enclosed field to exercise our dogs, they loved it. We will be back

The accommodation and the owners (who live right next door) were lovely.

We arrived in the dark and quite late @ 8pm but were greeted and made to feel welcome straight away. The only confusion was that we had dogs with us which he wasn't expecting and we had to pay extra for them I am sure when I booked I informed you I had dogs and the extra cost wasn't mentioned and he hadn't been informed. We had a brilliant week otherwise exploring the locality which is stunning and would definitely recommend it to others. The other thing I should mention is bring your own tea/coffee/milk, etc. as it isn't supplied and the nearest shop is around 4 miles away. Luckily we arrived in our campervan so had supplies on board!

The scenery was beautiful both to the left and to the right of us . John the owner was very helpful sharing his knowledge of the surrounding area , and just being a really nice helpful man . we both enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return and visit again in the future

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed, John and his wife made us feel really welcome, theyve worked really hard at providing such a lovely gome from hime, The cottage was spotless, it was so peaceful and tranquil.

Everything you needed was provided, I really didn't want to come home. I could quiet happily live there permanently. Highly recommend staying especially if you want peace and quiet, will definitely be back.

A really lovely property in a quiet spot surrounded by beautiful country.

The property was clean and tidy and felt plenty roomy enough for 2. Well-equipped with an excellent power shower and comfy bed. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Access is via a stony uphill track which is fine with care, and gets you well away from the main road (which isn't that busy anyway). Many thanks John & Sue for welcoming us and for a lovely stay.

It was wonderful to enjoy the complete peace and quiet, beautiful views and setting of Mullach.

The cottage was immaculate, super clean and every tiny detail had been considered, in terms of cleanliness and to meet all needs - but also in the way everything functioned beautifully. A solid door, keeping out drafts and noise, windows that didn't even rattle in the strong winds, a clever wooden latch to secure the shower door etc. It's a cosy base for coastal adventures! John was a lovely host, he and his wife clearly take great care of the cottage and their visitors. Hope to return!

Great little cottage in a lovely setting.

It has all the visitor needs for a holiday break. If you love our avian friends this place is a gem. We heard 35 different species during our stay including the rare Yellowhammer. There is lots of good walks. Areas of historical interest. None more so than Kilmartin Glen. Nearby gardens to visit. And if you like transport engineering and industrial history. Crinan and Bonawe are not far away. But if you just want to watch the world pass by sit at the cottage door. The hosts are considerate and informative. And worth chatting with if you get the chance. One of the best breaks we have had in years.

John was lovely and made us feel very welcome and told us about some lovely places to visit. The place was spotless and the views were amazing. A beautiful place so quiet and peaceful we hope to return.

Had a fabulous holiday at Mullach cottage.

John couldnt have been more helpful, pulled out an old bath so I could get the dogs cleaned off after a very muddy walk to the point.

Mullach is a lovely cottage, it is part of the owners property and quite remote but very peaceful with beautiful views and plenty of walking opportunities.

It is also a good base for exploring more of Scotland The owners are extremely helpful and a lovely couple. It would be advisable for guests to ensure they take provisions with them as even a small basic shop is some way (4 miles). We will be returning.

Very clean, cosy well-appointed cottage, conveniently placed for exploring Oban and the coast, in a peaceful, pretty hillside setting.

Cottage was lovely, clean very comfortable. Facilities were great, our dog Mei lived the paddock, didn’t want to leave it. John knew the area very well and was happy to give advice about where to go. Look forward to returning.

The property is exactly as advertised, clean, well maintained and well equipped.

The owner John was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the locality (with some fantastic tales of some of the local eccentrics). The view from the paddock (dog walk field) was amazing.

The wonderful, large paddock for dogs is worth visiting even if you have no dog because the views are so good.

We had two dogs with us and they absolutely loved the paddock to run around safely in … thank you for a lovely holiday will definitely recommend especially to our friends and families with dogs, please note free range chickens run around so dogs need to be on a lead until you reach the paddock only one minute from the front door

From booking where staff were so helpful i would say above helpful.. The owner who was amazing key collection made so easy, showing us around his cottage explaining everything , this cottage wanted for nothing ,the kitchen well equipped , the bed was excellent and the surroundings just made for a very relaxing stay.. The owner was just a call away ,but gave you privacy..

We had a great stay at Mullach and were really pleased with the accommodation.

It was even better than we were expecting from the photos and catered to all our needs. It was very clean and was really helpful for essential things like soap, washing up sponges, washing up liquid and towels to be provided. We would love to stay there again. John was really friendly and helpful in suggesting places to visit and showing our son his chickens! We had a lovely time playing on the enclosed paddock with our son and dog, with stunning views. Our stay at mullach cottage was all we expected, wished for and more!

Great location if you fancy nature and the mystical beauty of Scotland just around the corner. The owner John not only really added to our holiday with inside local knowledge of places to see, but also with enjoying talks and lots of great laughs. Certainly a place to return too!

The Mullach cottage is what one would dream of as a true Highland Home.

We had a relaxing week in a beautiful setting. We were made very welcome on arrival. John and Sue who own the property are a lovely couple.

This is a very comfortable cottage, in a beautiful peaceful location, but well placed for touring around Argyll.

The owner is on hand with help and local information if required. We love this cottage, and the area. Just completed our third visit there, and will be back again.

Mullach is a great wee holiday cottage in a fantastic location.

I initially had reservations when I saw that there were two cottages in the same location and that the owner's house was also adjacent but it wasn't a problem at all. We hardly saw the people from the other cottage and John the owner was really helpful. It's a fantastic place for a holiday with dogs. Endless places to walk and there is even a huge field near the house where you can let them run around and not get into mischief. The cottage itself is beautiful - well designed, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Everything you need for a great holiday. Could have happily extended my stay for another week!

Top notch cottage.

Spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. Ideal base for the area. Easy access to an extensive variety of walks and historical sites. Perfect for me and my two dogs who loved the host, we’re rural so rarely see anyone and they loved seeing John. John was a perfect host, full of handy information, available if needed but not intrusive and happy to answer queries. I’d highly recommend Mullach for the perfect break. Another lovely week staying at Mullach.

Once again the weather was extremely kind to us so getting out and about to explore this beautiful part of Scotland was easy. John was on hand for anything that we needed and the cottage was as good as it was last year.

The cottage and location was excellent.

The scenery and views of the lock from the paddock breathtaking. John and his wife were also lovely hosts with John providing us with fantastic knowledge of all the surrounding areas for the best places to visit and experience. Anyone wanting to escape from the madness and hectic experiences of most peoples normal daily life then this is definitely worth a visit. Me the wife and our dog Oscar fully enjoyed our holiday and would gladly revisit the next time West Scotland

Immaculate and well-equipped cottage in an idyllic setting.

Helpful owner who is extremely knowledgeable about the area. We managed the track up to the cottage fine in our very average (automatic) family car every day - the owner's tips were useful, though, so if in doubt ask for advice.

Lovely cottage, lovely peaceful surroundings and friendly hosts.

Equipment and facilities within the cottage were excellent. The driveway was easily manageable and our dog loved the grounds surrounding the cottages.The only negative was that we would have preferred a second sofa rather than two rattan chairs with cushions.

A very comfortable and pleasant cottage in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location.

Perfectly comfortable, except for the hot water which was dangerously hot and since the faucets were not of the mixing variety, it could provide a hazard.

Would have been nice to have had some extra blankets and pillows provided although these may have been removed due to Covid. Host was very friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Drive up to the cottage is not for the faint hearted.

A beautiful, well kept cottage on a quiet farm.

Exactly what was advertised, exactly what was delivered. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect host who provided us with a wealth of information about the local area which was fully appreciated. We'd definitely stay at this cottage again, ideal for us and our dogs.

We had a great stay at Mullach near Ardfern.

The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings with a fabulous view over the lochs. Inside, the cottage was clean and spacious, with easy instructions on how to access all of the facilities. It was well equipped and the owner was easy to contact should we have needed anything. Thank you

We liked that the owner was there to meet us, and around during our stay if/when required.

He is a mine of good knowledge of the area, all of which helped to make the most of our time. The property is in a beautiful tranquil setting It is well equipped, warm, comfortable and the ideal place to rest after being out in the fresh air all day. This is a great location for the many walks, historic sites, coastal scenery between Lochgilphead and Oban. I like to think and hope we can return at some point fairly soon.

Absolutely loved this cottage.

If you are looking for a 'get away from it all' holiday but with easy access to the wider part of this area of Scotland, then I cannot recommend Mullach highly enough. The setting is idyllic, so peaceful and the ideal place to unwind. We had neighbours staying in the other cottage but did not hear anything from them and had a huge front garden which we could just relax in. John, the owner, could not have been more helpful and gave us some really useful tips of where to visit. Our 16 year old loved the upstairs bedroom and our 2 year dog loved the paddock to run round in. We did have the added advantage of fabulous weather while we were there but Mullach would be a perfect place to stay no matter what the weather was like. We hope to return at some point in the future.

A great secluded location.

Access to large gardens/paddocks. Host John very helpful and approachable. John kindly allowed us to store bicycles in one of his many outbuildings. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

John was a fabulous host and has an absolute wealth of knowledge regarding where to go and what to do in the local area; we found some real gems which we would probably have otherwise missed.

Cleanliness and the condition of the property were excellent, though the access track from the road is a bit rough. If you have a furry companion with you who needs a vet, we found Dalraida practice in Lochgilphead to be very good.

Well where to start.

The cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Initially the road up to the cottage was a little off putting but we soon got used to it. The situation is lovely with great views from the paddock. John and Sue are lovely and it was great having them there to ask about places to visit. We would have missed a few gems otherwise. The cottage itself was as described in the advert, just right. It was great to see it had everything required and lots of nice touches like, candles and matches and even a torch. Good quality bedding, pots and pans etc. This made such a difference to the comfort of our holiday. There was nothing missing from the cottage that I needed. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would like to thank Sue and John for a really lovely relaxing week. We will be back.

The cottage was clean and well presented, everything we needed for our 4 night stay with the outdoor space perfect for our two dogs .

.. a 2 acre paddock where they could run free. John, our host was very approachable offering advice as to where to visit etc. I highly recommend Mullach for a short break and to use a base for touring this part of Argyll. The entry road requires extra care but being pre-warned it was not a problem.

It was a little disappointing that the access road was not up to standard, lots of potholes and also that the photos we first looked at when booking led us to believe that the sea was closer to the cottage than it actually was.

Having said that, the landlord was very helpful and pleasant and I would certainly visit again.

This a superb holiday cottage with stunning views over the hills and the lochs in the back ground.

The hosts very friendly and gave lots of tips on where to go. As were later on in the evening to arrive it was nice to see a light on in the cottage and Sue came round to see if we had settled in ok. The fresh flowers on the counter was a nice touch.

After seven years of holidays at John and Sue’s cottage our expectations are always high, they have not disappointed yet.

We had a lovely break at the cottage which was in a great location.

The road up to it is a bit of a steep drive but was easily negotiated. The views were stunning and the enclosed fields were an ideal area to exercise the dogs. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed trips into Oban and Inverrary. The cottage is lovely, well laid out with fantastic comfy beds and had all the mod cons you would expect. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had such a lovely time in the cottage- it was so clean and beautifully presented (way better than photos), in the most beautiful countryside with great walks nearby.

John met us on arrival and was super helpful. Cannot recommend this cottage enough- a real find!

The cottage was lovely.

Well equipped, warm in the cold nights, clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet and peaceful with no road noise at all. The field was great for the dogs as they loved being able to run around in it (we kept them on leads a lot of the time when out and about because of the sheep and lambs) and we enjoyed the tremendous view. We'll need to come back as a week wasn't enough and we'd be very happy to spend two weeks there. John and Sue friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

The location is stunning. A fabulous holiday thank you. Our host asked us if a hot tub would've improved our experience. For us absolutely not, it would've detracted from the raw natural beauty of this place.

Great little cottage and the owners were absolutely fantastic

In the middle of nowhere, and hardly a tourist hotspot, this is the perfect location for a quiet, restful 'get away from it all' holiday.

We don't walk - no dogs, and my wife's seriously disabled - so the car does the work, but there are dozens of wonderful mountain and 'seaside' drives within a few miles of the cottage. Particularly memorable, the drive from Kimelford to Loch Awe, Craignish Point, Easdale and Luing, and Tayvallich and beyond - we watched an otter fishing at Keills (the end of that little peninsula, overlooking the Sound of Jura) for well over an hour, heaven on earth! Not nearly so remote, but fascinating, is the ever-so-pretty Crinan Canal. The cottage couldn't be more cosy, nor the owners more friendly, helpful or unobtrusively welcoming. A week's not enough.

Brilliant.

Location superb, Cottage fantastic, Owners are great and chatty, From Mullach you can access all the major routes to all the little villages scattered around. Half an hour to Oban, ferry across to Mull, and a smaller ferry to Iona was fantastic and well worth the trip. We will return next season without fail. One very minor point is the access from the road, the incline is very steep but manageable if you take it steady, don't be put off by this because you will be missing out on a wonderful little place. Thanks to John and Sue for the best little cottage in the area.

Great cottage lovely owners field for the dogs.

Ideal place to travel from if you want to go to any islands eg Mull book ferry before you leave for your holiday booked for work in advance when we were there.
