We have visited this area many times and know it well.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at Taigh Na Talia. The accommodation is very pleasant and brilliantly situated, within easy reach of amazing beaches, boat trips, train trips and good fish and chips. The owners are very happy to help with any problems that may occur during your stay. We are very likely to return for another stay.

Lovely stay in the cottage which is clean and well equipped with everything you need for your stay.

We got out and about and visited Eigg and Knoydart during our stay as well as walking along the side to Loch Morar. The view out the front window is amazing with the ever changing view of the sea and Islands - we never bored of looking at it!

This property was much better than it looks.

Owners are great communicators. The views from the house of the ever changing bay are mesmerising from the open plan living room and kitchen and main bedroom. It was comfortable, lots of natural light and made for easy living. Everything we wanted for an active holiday with our 12 year old was on our door step ie kayaking in the silver sandy bay or majestic unspoilt loch Morar, cycling and hiking to paneramic views. Larachmhor plantation run by volunteers is well worth walking around. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly. We are sensitive to traffic noise but it was far enough not to bother us as our little link road was in between with a lot of trees and bird song. Its a few mins walk to the bay waters which we dipped in every day - despite a couple of days where the waters looked a little choppy in the distance they stayed miraculously clear in the sheltered bay. We often use Air B&B but we know if or my parents choose a Sykes property we know we are guarenteed good accomodation and this was a particularly special one which we would highly recommend.
