Lovely cottage in beautiful quiet location.

Very clean and well equipped. We were 2 adult couples. It would have been more comfortable for us if the twin bed mattresses had been firmer. Best not to leave the upper floor windows open if rain is forecast! The owner was very pleasant when contacted.

The cottage was perfect for our needs as a peaceful and comfortable base for hillwalking in the area.

We were greatly impressed by how both Sykes and the owner dealt with the last-minute discovery that the fridge in the cottage had broken down beyond repair. Their commitment to fixing the problem and, in particular, the owner's extraordinary efforts, were superb.

We had a wonderful stay in this property!

It's a bit of a trek getting to the cottage, we didn't mind as we have 4 wheel drive
