Property was lovely and the owner was very nice.

It should be noted that this is part of a small campground and on the 2nd floor. Only complaint is that the wifi was down. Some basic items like tea and coffee in the kitchen would be nice. Overall, I'd recommend this property. Dealing with Skyes Holiday Cottages on the other hand was a disaster. Your "247 support" was a bot and it took more than a day for a human to follow up. They often dropped the ball and never got back to me. Really a joke!

Spacious, convenient apartment in a beautiful location, with fabulous sea view.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is large and comfortable and well equipped. The views of the sea from the windows are gorgeous, and there are benches in the garden next to the sea. We saw a heron perching on a boulder in the evenings and bunnies playing on the lawn in the morning. The owners are friendly and helpful, and there is a place to park by the side of the house. It's a great base for exploring Trotternish and The Quirang, being just over the hill road from Staffin. An idyllic place!

Renter be advised, owners have a policy of no children under 12.

This was not in listing and our booking was accepted after providing our kids ages. Upon arrival we were greeted by the caretaker asking how old our children were and complaining our booking was accepted. She said no less than 3 times that our booking shouldn’t have been accepted as she showed me the apartment while my family unloaded the suitcases from the car. It made for an awkward somewhat uncomfortable stay. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Fantastic property right on the coast.

The views were amazing. The apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The homemade cupcakes were a tasty welcome gift. One thing that was confusing on arrival was that parking for the apartment is accessed through the gate for the caravan and campsite.

A beautiful place at a very reasonable price.

The atmosphere was lovely, and everything met our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again..

The property is in a lovely place and the views from the rooms are amazing!

It was very clean and we had a lovely welcoming cake and milk which was very appreciated. Only one thing I would recommend is having a heated towel rail in the bathrooms as there is no where to dry them. Otherwise a great place to stay on Skye.

The views are stunning. We were only a group of 3 so found the cottage very big.

The location was awesome and like a heaven.

The property was very comfortable, clean, well-furnished and beautifully situated - handy for all the sights of Northern & Central Skye.

It was handy for a few restaurants and a good local shop, trips to see puffins were available online leaving from the quay and the views were jaw-dropping. The only very minor issues were that the gate needed signage "PLEASE KEEP CLOSED' and 'SLOW - KIDS & PETS'; also, I would contend that rather than being next to a campsite we were ON a campsite - there were campervan pitches level with the house, less than 30 feet away, right in front of one window. Other than that the property and our stay was perfect!

This is such a lovely apartment with the most amazing views.

The owner is so helpful and was even out opening the gate for us ! There is everything you need and the best homemade lemon cake I have ever eaten. I would heartily recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back.

Loved the view and location

Overall we had a nice time.

Besides the unnecessary yelling at us before we had even said hello, we had a nice stay, Comfortable living space on the coast. Being close to the camping site initially concerned me but didn't cause any issues at all. Wifi connectivity was almost non existent. If you need good connectivity or would be bothered by a volatile host (his outbursts have been confirmed in reviews across several booking platforms and make for quite entertaining reading), I suggest looking elsewhere.

This is a spacious apartment with the most spectacular views we had our entire stay.

I wish we had planned to stay longer. It is the upstairs apartment of the home that manages the campground, so one has access to the camp washer (and dryer!). The couple running the campground are delightful and gifted us with the most delicious lemon drizzle cake!

The stay was made super comfortable, super welcoming and very friendly by the owner.

A nice bonus was a lemon cake to have with our tea when we first rolled in. We had a lovely time and will be singing the praises to everyone.

Communication was absolutely terrible.

For WEEKS before, I was trying to get clarification on some questions and was unable to have a simple exchange. I began to suspect your customer service team was a bot. Until I connected with the Manager, Martin, and then everything was easy and straightforward. The experience with the Whatsapp thread was just crazy-making.

A wonderful week spent at this property, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay .

The accommodation was first class and the welcome pack of home baking was delicious and much enjoyed by us. Certainly could recommend this property as a base to explore the beautiful island. 5 star.

Lovely apartment!

One suggestion might be some shelves in the bathrooms for guests to put their toiletries. Thank you for you hospitality.

Site owner Mr Madigan was very helpful and at times put himself out to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible.

The the accommodation was clean and well kept, and the location is good for ferry and views from rooms were great

Our hosts were excellent & always available to answer any queries.

Just a couple of things - there were no pegs or a place to dry clothes, some of the cooking trays were very rusty, a vacuum cleaner was not provided to clean during the week.

Other than that it was a fantastic location. Quiet & stunningly beautiful.

The apartment was exceptionally well-appointed, clean and spacious, with wonderful views and a lovely sitting out area with picnic benches in front of the house.

The kitchen was generously equipped with nice cockery, cutlery and glasswear, and the cooking utensils provided were excellent. We enjoyed the sense of spaciousness in all the rooms and the high standard of furnishings and decor throughout. We were warmly welcomed and settled in and simply cannot recommend Ceol na Mara highly enough. I have personally stayed in many cottages on Skye over the past twenty years or so and can honestly say this is one of the very best. The campsite area is very well managed and simply does not intrude on the privacy of the apartment in any way, We have thoroughly enjoyed our time there and were very reluctant to leave when the time came to return home. Our thanks to the friendly and efficient owners who have done so much to provide a really great base for the holidaymakers who stay with them.

Views across the sea, through picture windows. Well insulated and well equipped, friendly people on the site and we were left to ourselves. Quite a few places to visit in the locale. Will recommend and rebook.

It was a completely wonderful holiday in a beautiful location in a fantastic apartment.

The owners were really friendly too!! A small point - there was a delicious cake for us when we arrived, but no tea, coffee, milk, or sugar to make a drink to have with the cake! Everywhere we have ever booked with Sykes and through other websites, always provide a 'basics kit'. In the directions you should mention it's through the gate to the campsite, as we arrived but turned round when we got to the gate, thinking it couldn't be on the campsite!!
